Mine has connectors / splitters that plug into the turn signals and headlights. It was all plug and play, there weren't any exposed wires to solder or tape up.
That is how mine work as well and from my understanding is how they are meant to work - solid white as side markers, amber with turn signal activated.
he light being white as a side marker is a valid concern since only amber side marker lights are legal in some states. I'm in a state where...
I've been trying to figure out what to spend my rewards points on since April, I don't mind a little markup but all the accessories are way overpriced compared to competitors! I actually came here and searched for "what Ford accessories aren't too overpriced" which of course had no results. I...
I've been a professional videographer for about 15 years and agree with everyone else. If the person puts in the effort to do a good job filming, editing, and explaining things, you're asking for a decent amount of work that will be of great value to your business but offering very little in...
These are from a different brand but pretty much identical lights. Sorry it's not dusk, I need to be somewhere in a few minutes.
The individual clips in order are:
- Lights turn on
- LED on solid (the flicker isn't noticeable to the eye, that's a camera thing)
- Turn indicator
- Doors unlock
-...
Thanks for the replies!
This doesn't happen with wired AA and it was definitely the wireless adapter causing this. I updated the firmware (which was a bit of a challenge) and the issue seems to have gone away. I've only been in my truck twice since updating it but I wasn't getting those...
I'm thinking much like with torque, probably not without the help of a side loaded mirroring app.
I just checked and there isn't a way to access the app I use for my home security system in Android Auto. Google is adding video streaming (like YouTube) and web browser support but they will only...
I've been wanting to ask about this for awhile and have spent time searching the forums but didn't see it talked about. I have a 2024 without wireless Android Auto and got an inexpensive adapter from Amazon a couple of months ago. The adapter works great and it usually reconnects pretty quickly...
I've been thinking about putting a camera on the front for parking assistance and in the truck bed to help me remember when I leave things in there (I have a cover and bad memory). I found a couple of decent looking RV camera kits that come with a display and I'm not opposed to having another...
Isn't it also true that you shouldn't jump a hybrid from battery to battery and that's why there are posts under the hood to hook up to? I seem to remember seeing / hearing it was bad idea to do it especially if it's the hybrid doing the jumping.
The dealership I bought from included the first 3 or 4 servicing's for free which probably would have included a wash. Only problem is I'd have to drive 4+ hours each way to get there.
Cool, thanks!
I've had other tpe / tpu things and some have been grippy while others soft. I have sensory issues and the raised seams on the original material bother me, and a grippy material probably would too. I actually already have a cover on it that fits pretty well but it sticks out on...
Quick update on those two trim pieces that don't fit properly in my 2024 Maverick. I went to my local dealership yesterday and after waiting about an hour the service rep let me know they'd be ordering new trim pieces and it was all covered under warranty. He also said there is a TSB for the...
I haven't read all 11 pages so don't know if anyone else already said this, but every time I start to accelerate from a stop in electric mode I wish there was another 5% available before it turns on the gas engine.
I don't accelerate that fast in city driving but to keep acceleration under 10%...
He means your cell phone. I don't remember if there's a box that needs to be checked on your infotainment system to turn on Android Auto, I seem to remember once my phone was linked and plugged in via USB that Android Auto just worked. But either way, unless you've done something to your truck...
If I'm understanding correctly, it sounds like you might have uninstalled the Android Auto app. On your phone, go the the Play store and search for Android Auto. Scroll down a little to get past the ads / sponsored results, and you'll see the official Google Android Auto app. If it is in fact...
