Agree completely. I actually was shocked it was available and double checked with them when putting the deposit down that it wasn't a customer order since I was under the same impression that Ford wasn't doing dealer stock orders for the Maverick. They said it was a dealer stock order at the time...
For real. I just don't know how they wouldn't have known that if this was supposed to be a showroom vehicle when I put down my deposit. Like this is not a small dealer, and they've had to deal with this with the Bronco plenty before the Maverick. No excuses.
Anway, it's not like I could have...
Spoke to the salesperson again. She said that they are suspecting the vehicle is a Ford show/showroom? vehicle (wtf) but they're still trying to confirm. Hoping to have clarification by EOD today.
If that is indeed the case, there is absolutely no excuse for why they shouldn't have known that...
Uh oh. There's a chance I'm going to get royally screwed.
For reference, I put in a $1000 deposit a month ago for this vehicle which was supposedly a dealer stock order that they were surprisingly selling at MSRP (and also their first hybrid coming in). I even signed something showing what the...
I saw on Palsapp that my Maverick was just delivered to my dealer. Should I just wait for their "ready for pickup" call or should I bother them? I'm not sure how long it's usually supposed to take before I can pick it up.
Normally I'd be more patient, but our only other car got side-swiped a...
Sounds good! I don't have the original box so I'll see what I can find and how much it would cost to ship it. Probably would want to use UPS as Fedex and USPS have been terrible for me lately.
I found someone who is well-rated to do partial front PPF for me for like $500. I'll probably see the lines but I'm not that bothered by it, and full front PPF was like $1800 which I can't justify on a 25k truck.
I made the mistake of asking for these for Christmas, but apparently the Ecoboost liners do NOT fit the hybrid Maverick per a recent Reddit post (for both the front and rear liners). Thankfully, my new Maverick stock order includes Ford's OEM floor liners, so I don't need these anyway. Part...
Go Dawgs!! It's been a long time coming. I graduated right after Kirby was hired and it's so fantastic to see us finally bring it home.
Also, I've been buying lots of UGA stuff for the Maverick. Getting a National Championship license plate frame, maybe a decal, and this here...
I find it really convenient when pulling in to parking garages/lots that require paid tickets to enter/exit. That's pretty much the only time I use it though.
I was able to find a stock order at MSRP - vehicle went into production 09/02/21 but wasn't fully built until 12/20/21. What are the chances that it would be under the recall?
The new student discount looks to be exactly the same and is valid until 1/3/2023. I went ahead and renewed mine and got a new certificate. Can't speak to any other discounts, though.
Currently driving my wife's 2017 Kia Niro. The interior is a bit basic, but it's been rock solid mechanically and drives well and gets phenomenal mileage. I definitely prefer Mazda to Kia overall, but until Mazda makes a decent crossover hybrid we'll be sticking with the Niro.
I just got WeatherTech front floor liners for my hybrid Maverick for Christmas (don't have the Maverick yet though!) but I realized I asked for the Ecoboost version, not the hybrid version which isn't out yet. Shouldn't they have the same measurements? I understand the rear seat has less leg...
This is making me worry about when I'll actually get my October hybrid order. Was hoping by late May at the latest, but if 2022 production is happening back to back with 2023 production, it might not be until next September. Ugh.
Wade Ford has a hybrid coming in soon that's basically my exact order plus the XLT luxury package - unfortunately they aren't taking X-plan on it and it has a $3500 markup on it. If someone is really desperate though...
