Yes, Richard Pointyears.
Or you could think of the different models like this;
Lariat = Sheer Lace push up bra from Victoria Secrets
XLT = Playtex 18 hour full coverage 'mom bra' that handles most boulders
XL = Generic sports bra that does itās job but allows for some unwanted bounce.
š
Haha.
I think of it more as:
Lariat = Macyās edition
XLT = Target edition
XL = WalMart edition.
BTW:
I do 95% of my shopping at Wally World so Iām not hating on anybody.
Everybody gets the model they want and should be happy about it. If not, trade it in for a different model and love...
Itās your truck. You change it when you want to. Whatever makes you feel happy.
For me:
After the initial change at 5k miles to get the contaminants out, then;
I will change mine āon conditionā or just before Ford recommends it.
I bet my tranny lasts as long as yourās does in the end...
Iām glad to hear the report that the Maverick did well on the ice in New York.
But no thanks. It was almost 80 degrees here today and I was loving it.
But look. No waiting at that Bob Evans restaurant in the background.
Glad you made it safe and sound, my friend.
My humble suggestion:
How ābout you get a cheap piece of 1/4ā plywood or wall paneling and use a jig saw to cut a custom fit cover. Put some velcro on it so it doesnāt slide around.
You say you donāt own a jig saw? Go ask your neighbor Bob. He has one. Take a 6 pack Lone Star with you...
It looks nice but for $100 ($80 with the discount) Iām definitely not interested.
My suggestion is for you to re-price it in the $49 range. I think you would sell a lot more of them at that price point, my friends.
Good luck to you.
Snow always looks so beautifulā¦..in someone elseās driveway.
Here in Central Texas we are expecting the temperature to hit 80 degrees on Christmas.
YeeHaa!
24 Lariat Lux 360.
The fob Never leaves my pocket.
I pay attention to Not manually lock it when I open the door from the inside, so I donāt have to complain about it automatically locking itself.
I read the ownerās manual and all the locking/unlocking features work correctly on mine...
An Option to consider:
Cut a hole in the cover for the antenna and put a foam pipe cover over it, on top of the cover.
Most folks who fly small aircraft have at least one, if not two or three antennas on the plane. The covers used have holes or slits in them to fit around the antennas...
Ahh. So that white stuff in the background is Snow.
Being from the South (central Texas) where our grass is still green in December, I just figured the guy lived by a cotton gin and that white stuff was cotton lint.
:unsure:
Down here we actually do have 4 seasons;
Cotton, Hay, Football...
Wow. Wrecking a truck that new is a bucket-of-suck.
Iām sorry that happened to you, man. At least you are ok. Iām sure you were loving the truck and just getting settled into it but hey, itās only a piece of metal and it can be replaced.
Glad you are all right.
Thatās a great looking truck, my friend, and Iām sure youāre going to be happy with it.
There are lots of graphics that you can buy online and install yourself that will dress it up, if you are so inclined. Something else to add to it is a $30 tailgate damper. Amazon can probably have it to...
Your spark plugs look great.
A gentile cleaning and regap along with verifying the plugs resistance with a multimeter before reinstalling them would be appropriate.
If you sandblast the plugs to clean them, do it gently so you do not remove the iridium coating on the center electrode...
