Math pop quiz:
You can buy a 2022 truck that costs 30k MSRP and has a 5k ADM. Assuming a constant MSRP only adjusted for 8.5% inflation year over year, if you wait 5 years to buy your truck at MSRP in 2027 how much more will it cost to buy that same truck in 2027?

Looks cool... but the nitpicker in my has to take issue with the "no moving parts" description.
In my industry, sealed roller bearings are a moving part.
Whenever I look over and see another pickup driver next to me all I can think is, "What a sucker!"
I got all the truck-functionality I need without all of the size I don't - with a cabin that will easily rival any midsize offering. It's no F-150 Limited or Platinum on the inside, but it's...
Didn't watch the video because I can already tell you the AWD with 4K tow is going to be faster.
If the intelligent AWD screen on the display cluster is to be believed the EB-AWD puts down power to all 4 wheels under hard acceleration unless you're well over 30MPH. Add in a difference in gear...
Adaptive cruise control is worth every last penny, even if you have to add it aftermarket and hack your truck.
I bought the Lariat trim specifically for ACC and lane centering.
I've found that it takes a lot of the aggravation out of driving on the highway. 100% worth it in rush hour.
Don't blame Ford. They're victims of the planed, orchestrated chaos inflicted on our supply chains and social fabric over the last 2 years.
These are the results that should have been predictable to anyone with 2 brain cells. Unfortunately the corporate media establishment cheerleaded our...
Unfortunately this forum is full of d-bags who get some unearned sense of superiority based on what they paid for an item.
Literally anytime anyone pays above MSRP on this forum you get a chorus of smug jack wagons chiming in how much smarter their purchasing decisions are than the OP.

How to hypermile? However you want. Just don't do it in front of me. ;)
I'm all for driving sensibly and using strategies to improve fuel mileage.... some folks take it too far though. HURRY UP OR GET OUT THE WAY.
I hope your situation turns out for the best...
... but it sounds like these circumstances are a perfect storm for getting jerked around by the dealer.
Nice. A build date is a good start. In theory it should only take a day or two to build.... in practice... well, I hope it gets delivered before you hit the 12 month mark.
No one can tell you exactly how common it is but my observations are...
Those who attempt to buy a vehicle off a lot almost always pay ADM for a Maverick. *
Those who placed an order with their dealer and have a signed order form with a price on it tend to get their vehicle for the price on...
How are your cash reserves doing?
The only way I'd buy an extended warranty is if I thought the only way I could afford to pay for repairs is if I did it on a month to month basis.
Hypothetically, if you had to replace the transmission, engine or other pricey component would you be able to do...
That all seems fair.
Personally, I'm a little sour on Toyota's based on a 2002 Corolla I had. Transmission died in the low 100,00's (maybe 120k?). Sad thing is I bought it used from a family member and only put like 10,000 miles on it before it died.
