I loved both my Elantras I had but I don't like the Santa Cruz at all π too techy and just doesn't look like a truck to me. Everything is spacey looking now. Not to mention my last Elantra was part of the recall because of those "Kia boys" π« I mean they couldn't even be bothered to fix a car...
I'm worried about the machines slapping my paint with contaminated brushes more than the protection on the paint surface. Rocks and debris get stuck in those bristles all the time. Not to mention if I go through with my Camaro I'll certainly have no paint left π I just assume hand wash my...
You aren't wrong but as a detailer I can't go through the kind that touch your paint. I just hand wash. Hell my 91 Camaro has flaking paint (bad GM primer) and I still hand wash that lol I see little blue flakes of paint on the ground everytime π
I would say you have been lucky. Great to hear! I'm sure it depends on location and/or facility too π€·ββοΈ I've used a couple touchless car washes through the years in a pinch but I leave with 10-15 dollars less in my pocket and still not satisfied with the wash π as long as you're satisfied with...
I've seen numerous rear wipers pulled off suvs that use automated car washes. My unc would take his '56 Cadillac through them too, bent badges on his car, ripped an antenna off once and stained the paint...which a certain detailer had to refinish the paint π« until I yelled at him and told him to...
Water restrictions?! π³ a detailers nightmare! Can understand the reasons behind it but man that would suck πͺ definitely hand washes only here as well. Why pay for something that doesn't do it right and usually damages something π€·ββοΈ
Haha nice! Well they say happy wife, happy life π€·ββοΈ big ole Ford family you have there. I've seen the Area 51 in person, it is nice. Although not being a big fan of red myself I will say that the HPR is sharp!
I'm personally not into suspension mods, but don't mind them on other's Mavericks. Also as a lifelong detailer I hate scratches! Definitely not a pavement princess but along the lines of Matthew McConaughey "hey, watch the paint man" π and finally don't eat and get crumbs in my truck π sorry...
I've already shared this in another post but I went with an Etsy seller for the tailgate lettering. I got the black with red outline. Black complements the blue and other black accents and the red helps define the letters more and goes with the FX4 decals and taillights.
Thanks! I never thought I'd be a cap guy until I found it on the lot still waiting for an owner last June. Been loving it since. 99% in my area don't have a cap, nice to stand out a little bit. My struggle has been do I hold onto the Ford trifold tonneau or try to sell it? π€·ββοΈ I don't really...
Well today I went to U-haul for a 5x9 utility trailer with ramp that I reserved online days ago. Good news was they had my trailer saved for me, bad news was the trailer lights weren't working. Immediately in my head I'm thinking it's the trailer module recall on my Maverick...nope! U-haul guy...
