That wasn't my first oil change ( I didn't make that clear in my original post). The previous changes were done in their "regular" service bays with full Synthetic; this 10K service was in their "quik lube" service area that is like a Jiffy Lube setup on the property.

I believe Hybrid engine specifies full Synthetic in owners manual ~~ also see Glen Baker's earlier post in this thread.

I was successful in getting the oil/filter change done at no charge after I stood my ground and told them that I bought it there and that was part of the deal.

I'm at dealer where I purchased my '24 XLT Hybrid. They included "free oil changes for life" when i purchased it.
I scheduled this appointment two weeks ago for work to be done in their regular service bays area, but they've sent me over to their "quick lube" section and giving me the runaround...
Crazy how some dealers are not knowledgeable enough to solve problems; seems like Ford should better equip and train their dealers. Not great customer service

Try calling FordPass Customer Relations at
800.883.2966 and tell them about your experience with your dealer in Spruce Grove Alberta; they are concerned about Ford's reputation as portrayed by their dealer network. Get them involved and I think you'll get resolution to your concerns

It seems to be functioning normally this morning, I tried everyone's suggestions to try to replicate it, but it seems to be back to normal. I may have not been clear in my initial post~~~ the Selector would rotate to D , N and R but the transmission seemed to be locked in Park.
