oh, my bad! i had assumed you were referring to a mav! i wonder if you can use apc to remve it or some kind of plastic/rubber prep.
  2. No-Go and Go-To exterior/interior wash & detailing products for our Mavericks

yeah ive never done anything ceramic on the interior, havent done enough research into it yet, so i wouldnt do it to others vehicles. i have however plans to test it on my 98 Exp (kind of my test mule at this point, if it can work on a froader it can work on a DD mostly) for thr exterior you...
  3. No-Go and Go-To exterior/interior wash & detailing products for our Mavericks

on paint if the coating hasnt cured i want to say just a damp towel works to level. that being said i think a diluted apc or something like a panel wipe could work, havent played around with the mavs to get the materials down.

i dont own a mav (yet) but i detail in free time, so seen a few vehicles ;) this is an interesting thread, will hopefully come back if i ever get a mav my go tos soaps- megs gold class, CG citrus wash/gloss wheel cleaners- megs prof acid free wheel/tire, megs prof wheel brightener (for...
  5. Interior scratch/damage

have you got before and after photos? im quite interested in this. i wonder if it took off the "color transfer" from something that scratched it, or is covering it in a way where the light does not reflect like a scratch, not sure how to do that, as imo the only way it will fully vanish is to...
  6. Waterless wash opinions

imo not my cup of tea, unless its an older one that you dont care about as much. imo the more lubrication th ebetter, and although it is probably high pile (looks so from images) its still a dry wipe and eventually the dirt/dust builds up in the fibers and will have to be washed, which isnt a...
  7. Trim Restorer (What to use?)

imo it depends on the gloss level durablity etc that you want achieved, as well as the condition of the plastic. overall-303 low gloss natural look- griots VR protectant (not great durability) VRP is also worth a menition from CG imo. sometimes i notice certain plastics are less willing to...
  8. Finding a Maverick that isn't already spoken for

Im in the same boat. the mav ticks just about every box as a commuter (still got my 'froader) & weekend hauler. went to look at a hybrid XL the other day, dealer marked er up 20k! thats insane! and i checked back last night, seems like its gone. i see some at places like carvana etc up for more...
  9. Cyber Orange "Marigold" Maverick build w/ side exit exhaust, CAI, 20" wheels, stripes

imo depending on the routing a CAI can maybe net you a few ponies, certainly less than NA, and nothin the good ole butt dyno will notice. it wouldnt be worth it, only thing to be gained may be noise & throttle response if at all. but i suspect you could gain 1 or 2. just my opinion however :)...
