I get about 39 mpg in Sport Mode verses 44 mpg in Normal Mode with local driving. It’s a significant difference for me but, the fun of Sport Mode does make it worthwhile to use. Sometimes you just gotta say … mpg be damned!

Separately, Sport mode is also great in colder Northern climates since it almost exclusively runs the ICE in hybrids and thereby heats up the cabin much faster on those really cold days.

Absolutely love Fluid Film and used it on my prior 20 year old Ranger. I also spray the outside frame of my steel casement windows for the basement and my deck cleats. I didn’t do any undercoating on the Mav but, it’s a good idea.

Also make sure you turn off the Ford Pass communications found on the Mav head unit otherwise it may continue to look for your phone and expend power doing so.

I read that if you plug in a brake light hitch cover the rear cross traffic alert, if you have it, will be automatically disabled. Has anyone experienced this with a plug and play brake light hitch cover? My Mav is a 2023 Lariat with Lux package. Thanks.
