@DaveCactusGrayXLTH it was only 500, got a receipt but no paperwork so not locked into it, although it does have our name on the sold card on the windshield. We can get out if we want. If the stop sale gets extended we'll look into alternatives
I want to know what happens to those of us with down payments on trucks that are sitting in dealers lots being held hostage to the recall. That's if the fix doesn't go through as planned. I'm assuming we can get our down payments refunded if we walk away.
The real question. Is Ford saying ANYTHING? And what happens if this fix isn't available In a few months? I'm betting Ford will try to talk those of us with a down payment on a 24 into taking a 25. I don't want the increased nanny gadgets, higher price and lower horsepower. I'll walk.
You misread. I'm not arguing laws, I'm saying why are we calling people pathetic for not wanting to rely on tech.. As far as safety, when I dropped my son off when he was little, I always made sure I knew where he was before I started moving. No nanny cameras required, just common sense.
So are...
It's not pathetic, it's called not depending on tech that can fail. If it fails while you're driving, would you pull over and get a tow home? THAT is what's sad.
