I was scheduled for 11/13, in production 11/15, built 11/16, shipped 11/18, was originally scheduled to be delivered between 12/11 and 12/28. Now updated today says delivery between 11/24 and 12/5.
Looks like the new truck is on it's way. My apology to all on here who have been waiting for much longer than me.
My thanks to the many people on the board who are so helpful with this process. With all the supply chain issues, strikes, screwed up Ford systems, stealerships, etc it's a wonder...
I ordered on the 17th also but it didn't go through until the 19th due to dealer computer issues - medium sized dealer - scheduled to be built next week and I saw that it had turned to in production yesterday. So not too bad so far but a lot of sh_t could still happen.
This post should be required reading for every worker in this country.
My father taught me, that to get ahead, you need to first understand the system you are in. Then use every advantage within the system, under the law, to help you get to where you want to be. As someone who started on the...
Looks like the strike will be over soon for Ford: Hopefully you can see the link https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2023/10/25/uaw-strike-ford-updates/
I'm someone who enjoys driving as well. What else do you see as "easy" handling type mods for the truck? I really like the strut bar idea. I know several other Type R owners who have installed one.
I'm hoping for a Dec. delivery for mine. I was originally thinking of wider wheels and tires...

Look if you are so concerned with what this raise will add to the cost of a vehicle, we can do the math: 21% is the total labor cost(10% - wages; 11% - benefits) of a new vehicle. so if the truck cost 40,000 (Lariat) then the labor part is 4000. Times a 10% raise is 400. So the new Lariat should...
So, just out of curiosity what is your mpg. I wholeheartedly agree with the method as the only accepted way for accurate mpg. I'm getting an eco so it won't apply to me - I'm expecting mid 20's since I'd rather get there and then relax lol.
I am proof that if you listen to this advice your order has a better chance of getting through the system.
I ordered XLT, AWD, Tow, Lux, Azure gray, soft cover and splash guards on 7/17/23 like lots of others I'm sure. commadorebob was kind enough to warn me about the cover and splash guards...
