I ordered my hybrid xl on 11/11. The dealership provided me a DORA. I have not received a confirmation email from Ford. I called my dealer and they said no big deal and relax, it's ordered. They said they have ordered tons of these things. Is not getting an email anything to worry about?

I ordered a hybrid today and my salesperson said they got an email from Ford saying not to order anymore hybrids after today.

I just ordered today, no surcharge or down payment. I believe the dealerships are limited to ordering for themselves so keep in mind if you backed out, they would actually benefit cause they can then turn around and sell it.
