Too many bad experiences at dealership service deptartments. Not all are equal - especially mechanics and shop foremans, some good, some bad. The problem is finding the right (shop foreman) one that ensures the job is done right. Some we have found want to charge for "shop materials" on top...
To only be so blessed. Sometimes "the better half" is louder than anything else in the car...... I just turn up the radio (in my head) and cruise on mate! 😄
Man.... as annoying as sometimes it can get, Id be lost without it! 😉
We had it once on our new '26 Hybrid... but most likely due to being too quick to turn the shift dial and not having our foot firmly on the brake at same time. Made sure to press brake and then attempt gear selection, and it worked properly.
Our push button gear select Hyundai Sonata Hybrid...
I agree. Especially with the Maverick Hybrid - mine will sometimes brake on downhill coasting where my Sonata Hybrid wouldnt (had a conventional geared 6spd tranny). My Maverick Hybrid (will at times) does remind me of my Kawasaki KFX700 4whlr with CVT and how it reacted (slowed) when letting...
Agree.... in the world of tech, you can just about scam anything.
Its kinda like our RV..... we lock everything up (all doors and a lock on our king pin). All it does is make our 5er less attractive to steal or break in over others around us parked in a storage facility. The locks arent...
Got this same update OTA on our '23 Superduty (finally) last month. Our new '26 Maverick was built mid March must have been updated at the factory prior to shipment.... no updates are pending on Ford app or Infotainment screen - yet.
Nice for those that want a electric retractable, but.... Think I will stick with my manual hard foldup cover at 1/4 of the price with no storage space needed for the cover box.
USAA offers 20% over Actual Cash Value coverage on vehicles of any age - ACV can be negotiated if cost comes back to low with market or valued options. But not new replacement cost.... interesting?
Brings back memories...... Used to do some cookouts back in the '80s while stationed at Ft Campbell at the Land Between The Lakes. Would rent some boats from the rec center on post and head out there. Bunch of us soldiers would get together and cooked a few pigs on spits while camping near the...
I think tint covered (entire) windshields are illegal in MO too, but tinters will do it anyways.
Brother lived in Gainesville FLA..... a cop stopped him once for having too dark of shade on his windows. The cop took out a razor blade and cut an 'X' in his driver side window tint and gave him...
Not talking about thiefs..... if they want anything... they figure out how to get it. Its the neighborhood knuckleheads (kids) who got nothing better to do.... every city I have lived in (30yr military post migration - both on and off post and overseas) has had them. 😉
Point being? The chips are in Tiawan, lord knows where: steel comes from, tires, brake parts, individual engine parts, plastics, electronics, ..... not sure anything electronically or even mechanically manufactured are 100% USA made. Main idea here..... its sold primarily in the USA and by...
Wanted a US made Hybrid AWD that could cover/secure hauled items in the bed, good traction in winter, provide 4 doors, still get great mileage, and finally.... be easy for my wife (and me too😉) to get in/out and drive/park around town easily.
..... now if it just holds up as a Ford product!
IMO..... Yes! We have used Covercraft winshield products on all of our cars and they are quality made, last a very long time, and most importantly block alot of the heat and UV from from the sun on the dash/steering wheel/seats. Have even used some (same original one ) on multiple cars over 13...
