    I drive on a hundred miles of unimproved dirt roads every week, dust collects under the plastic cladding on the bedside. I hate to see my new truck dirty so I have been washing it weekly ... oh, oh, mud flows down the fendersides for a couple of days after each wash. I guess I'll have to...

    Mine sat around the rail yard for almost 4 weeks. Built 8/20/21 , delivered 1/19/22 Love my hybrid truck, but probably will never buy another Ford.

    Woops ... My XL has been parked out there since September. I suppose that the li-ion battery is covered by the 8yr/100k mile warranty.
  7. Maverick Hybrid climbing hills / 10% grade ?

    More important than power/torque is traction. Climbing a steep hill transfers weight off of the front drive wheels to the back wheels. This is even worse in a truck carrying a load. On dry pavement with a 10% grade this might not be a problem, but if the grade is dirt or gravel you might need to...
