Now gotta worry over a blown 2.0. My truck just turn 4,200 miLes, 1 yo this month. A misfire could perhaps lead to detonation, rapid explosion in cylinder, more pressure, busted mechanicals. If you can, advise what blown…hole in piston, bent rod, did it bust the block?

First, got an EPA mess on the driveway. Second, did you ask if dealer’s techs qualified? They gonna say Absolutely“. Then you should say “Why it is leaking?” Be ready for a lame response.

My XLT turn 1 yo this month. Has 4,000+ miles. Did oil change at ~1,500 miles. Had 2 recall done, now waiting on the next 2 (back up camera & wiper motor biz). Otherwise, no major hic cups.

Hurricanes no fun. As former S Louisiana native, seen share of storms. And in Texas, got a few. Last one was Beryl. Lots damage with trees falling, no power for 8 days. Our Generac kept us old folks comfy. Pray for Florida. And those NC folks.

My truck sits outdoors all times. And it gets wet from rains. If that wiper drive fails, hope a dealer has another in stock, and correct one at that. Makes me think maybe I should remove that cowl and wrap the motor/gearbox with a Glad ziplock bag. Humm…maybe if that works, could be good...
