Congrats to all. Still having a hard time understanding how identical builds for orders made a month after mine are getting filled but mine is not. Ordered with a small dealership that has allocations. See you all next week!
Yes...I am going to have mine completely undercoated before I take it home. Best to do it before you put any miles on it. Having it done at Casco Bay Ford. https://www.cascobayford.com/rust-protection.html
Ordered July 16th. Checked with my dealer a few days back. Suggested they move my priority to 10. They say every order at the dealership is assigned 19. Then they added the following: " Your priority code is currently at a 12. It looks like Ford has been going in and making those changes...
I took my tonneau cover off in September in hopes that would help...still waiting. I went with the hybrid for the MPG appeal. Of course I would have preferred an AWD hybrid but will get 4 studded snow tires to hopefully overcome any winter driving challenges. Here is the link to the...
Looks like you ordered an Ecoboost...from what I have seen reported on this site, most of those tend to get build dates quicker than hybrids. Although a few that have higher trim levels and options have taken longer. Good luck!
I was told by the salesman that Casco Bay does the undercoating at thier commercial vehicle center just up the road from the dealership. Was told it costs around $950. Yes...hoping we all get good news Thursday!
Ordered a Lariat Lux Hybrid from Casco Bay Ford July 15th, confirmed July 16th...still waiting for a build date. Hopefully this week! Good to see a few Mainers have build dates. Plan to have rust coating added right away, add a Tonneau cover, and ceramic paint protection.
If you watch and listen to the video he discusses the lack of heated seats and steering wheel at the 6 minute 42 second mark through the 7 minute 2 second mark.
The Lariat without the Lux package in this video does not have dual climate control...you need the Lux package. The XLT with the Lux package in this video does have dual climate control.
Actually he states that the owner had a Bronco Sport Engine Cover installed as it matches exactly the layout of the engine. For the hybrid I have heard the same can be done by installing an Escape hybrid engine cover.
Just for grins I called the Ford marketing number for an update on my July 16th order. Crickets...could only tell me that no build date has yet been assigned. Hopefully that changes Thursday...but not holding my breath!
I have seen some reviews stating that the quality of the Maverick backup camera is not that good. As I am still waiting on my order, for those of you that have a Maverick, what are your thoughts on the backup camera and the image quality? Is the camera upgradable via aftermarket options?
I won't lie...super frustrated. Happy for all that received build dates, but to see build dates for identical builds as my order that were placed weeks after mine is definitely not sitting well!
July 15th order/confirmed July 16th. Have ROVP.
