So, got put in Maverick Prison for a few weeks for expressing a political opinion.
While In Maverick Prison, had a series of bizarre incidents in life that I won't get into, but ultimately traded my '22 Maverick in and bought a '24 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Premium instead.
No regrets except for...
So, I'm curious...
After some serious internal arguments with myself ("Should I buy a new Ford, should I not?") I happened to go to the Mullinax/Apopka, FL website to check out their trucks. I'm looking at F-150's, Rangers. Explorers, etc. All of their "new" 2024 stuff has mileage accruals of...
I likewise love my 2022 XL Ecoboost. Even the recalls haven't been too horrible to deal with. The latest two (NHTSA #24V267 & 24V293) I've arranged for the Ford Mobile Service to come deal with while I'm at work. Now THAT'S service!
Still debating what my next ride will be. Leaning heavily...
"To do this the proper redneck way" made me laugh my ass off. Are you sure you're living in Hawaii rather than NC? We had all manner of ways of "fix it by fixin' it!" Say what you want about rednecks, but them good ol' redneck boys will help you out in a pinch. They live for shit like that.

I still have two recalls hanging out there. Have a trip to NY scheduled so the recalls may have to wait until I return. Ain't nobody got time for this.
Only that which I give to myself for not ordering the Maverick in 2022 with AWD and 4K Tow Package.
I've asked myself if I want another Maverick and bounce between loving it and wanting something else with a few more creature comforts.
If I decide to get a Subaru later on down the line, does...
I'm getting 26-28mpg city driving and consistently 30-33mpg highway. One time on the back roads of GA to the FL line I got 39mpg. Haven't seen numbers like that since June 2023.
All that drops to 19mpg when I'm pulling a 6x10 cargo trailer when I go camping, consistently driving 65-70mph.
I've received that message numerous times while driving during the daytime. I think the cameras/sensors are picking up on phantom shadows, because each and every time it's happened I'm either driving under a walkway bridge, or I'm approaching a bridge and the sensors read the road divider as...
