I am loving my truck. Coming from a mid level trim Saturn SUV I am very happy with the Lariat with BAP interior and exterior. I have used all of the tech and there is nothing I will not use. It took a little while to gain the trust of the ACC. The tech seems more refined then the 23' Subaru I...
Most likely just condensate coming out of the holes put in the exhaust for this purpose. One of the byproducts of combustion is steam from the moisture in the air, short trips and the fact that the hybrid engine does not always get as hot as a conventional ICE engine the exhaust does not get hot...
I got the 8/120000. Dealers financing dept was very transparent about what it covered, what the deductible was and that it overlapped the initial warranty. I also bought 7 year replacement cost from the insurance company. I am retiring in less than 2 years so I am looking for some peace of mind...
I have only had it working for less than an hour so I have not figured out which PIDs I want displayed over and above the Hybrid Battery charge level, but I like it - well worth the $12.99 CAD!
I picked up my truck on Sunday and I have been driving mostly short trips to and from work (20K round trip). I live on a ridge and work on top of hill but have to drop down into a flat area between the two. It is still early but the thought of only having to fill the tank about once every 2...
We donāt really use cheques any more in Canada⦠(I use debit or credit and then pay it off weekly), I wrote my 1st cheque in over 5 years on Sunday to pay for my Maverick. I was so rusty I screwed up my 1st attempt. š
Normally I would agree with this statement, but personally I only buy name brand electronics that have large lithium batteries due the potential of fire while charging!
I bought a GB70 a while back even before I got my Hybrid and I love it! I have had to use it about 5 times on my SUV which had a crappy battery for a while (it is still showing a full charge). I picked up my truck Sunday and the NOCO Boost was the first thing I transferred out of the SUV and...
My Sales Rep sent me a picture today...
I am hoping to get it Saturday!
Edit: Oh well - got invited to go to hockey game after work tonight, so I will have to wait one more day! the suspense is killing me!
Yesterday my sales person told me the truck was on a rail car in town and it would probably take a week to get it and prep it for pickup. well as of tonight they have it so I should be able to pick it up in a few days...
Edit: I just realized 15 years ago today my Mustang was t-boned and...
I just got an update from my sales person... My truck is sitting on a rail car in the area waiting to be unloaded and delivered. He expects it to be a week from now. They have the tonneau on hold for me so it will be installed for pickup.
It really sucks to have your vehicle die, especially like yours did way out in the middle of nowhere, but if I am reading the situation correctly, there might be a plus side as it seems like the reprogram the knock sensor might have saved you the total loss of your truck. Please keep us updated.
Until a date is added to the in production status your truck is not being built. Mine was in production for 6 days. Then a date appeared and it showed built the same day! Mine shipped 2 days later and is in transit by train.
Although I donāt have my Maverick yet (1-2 weeks of waiting left), I rented a Suzuki Vitara last week in Iceland. It had many of the options my Lariat will have albeit not exactly the same. I learned I may have to change the way I drive. I was taught to cut the corner to the inside of the turn...
āā¦assembled in the period between January 19, 2024 and January 26, 2024ā¦ā a small number and thankfully mine was assembled after it was discovered and I assume corrected! Delivery of mine is finally getting close!
I am curious as to how well the Maverick does with TSR? I am driving a 2023 Suzuki Vitara Hybrid on vacation that has TSR and on 3 or 4 occasions it has messed up⦠I think on them all it showed 50Kph in 90 zones. I am just a few weeks from delivering now so making my list of things I want to doā¦
I believe 10 is the lowest a dealer can assign and if the dealer that assigned the 11 normally uses 19 for all orders it has the same weight as the 10 of the other dealer. Thats where allocations become the important factor. I would think the dealer could contact Ford on your behalf and plead...
