I was talking with the Ford Customer service a week ago to check on my order status. Still "Clean Unscheduled". The order is a 2023 rollover XL Hybrid with drop in tray liner and bumper hitch.
They mentioned my private offer ($2500) and gave me the reference number for it. The rep mentioned...
Been trying to figure out what "non-equipment related charges" means. From what I can find relating to that term I think it would mean price increases for, extended warranty, and possibly shipping charges. It would be nice if the email from Ford was more explicit.

I'm starting to think that because of the engine fire problem with the hybrid that Ford is re-thinking whether they should continue to produce them, based on the same design, in 2024. Maybe it is back to the drawing boards for the hybrid. Just a thought.

I think that plug in hybrids that can go over 30 miles on electric qualifies. I also think Ford will make a plug in Maverick hybrid in the next year. I haven't read recently though about what qualifies.
Got a call from my dealer this morning asking me to switch my order from a XL hybrid to a EB. Gave me the impression although he didn't say it directly that my hybrid order might not get filled. I told him I did not want to make a change. I certainly hope the order will fill.
I wonder how far forward the front seats slide to enable sleeping on the rear bench seat. Or is that a dumb idea. As far as the tent cap I think a regular tent makes more sense as well as many times cheaper.

Ordered a XL Hybrid (Cactus Grey) with basic trailer hitch and hard shell bed liner. Order went in around 3:30 this afternoon and got confirmation at 3:53 PM.
