  2. On screen mpg indicator - how to reset?

Yes, if anyone knows how to turn back on that screen on the right side of the 13", please let us know.
  3. What is going on with my exhaust?

My 2025 Hybrid is 10 months old and 1600 milles. Attached are 2 files to get a reference where the pipe should be aligned. No burning on my plastics. You should also consider that the exhaust is running extra hot for some reason. Seems too far away to melt the plastics.
  4. Another one bites the dust... my Maverick burned down in 30 car pileup

Pretty sure that's not gonna buff out.

  6. Hybrid badge

Those of us with a Hybrid want the hybrid badge so we can hold our nose in the air just like Prius drivers have done for years.

  8. Bait and Switch ...You be the judge

As fate would have it, they only had the model available in Metallic Pea.
  9. Spark Plug change w/ cylinder boroscope photos (2022 Ecoboost @ 53k miles)

It wouldn't hurt to periodically run some quality fuel injector cleaner through a tank of gas. It might knock off some of the carbon buildup on the pistons near the values.
  10. Forscan help request for Northern Colorado

If you sold the vehicle showing 100,000 miles, it would really have 101,752 miles. Yes, I can understand the need to have precise MPG readings, instead of always being off by 1.75%
  11. Forscan help request for Northern Colorado

According to the math moving from P225 to P235s, the difference at 75 MPH would be an actual of 76.3 MPH. It would not effectively result in a full 2MPH over until a 115 MPH speed (old P225 tires) with an actual 117 MPH with new P235 tires. Showing 60 MPH on the speedometer with new P235 would...
  12. Hybrid Battery Rundown Solution - Battery Tender ($55 total) w/Installation Photos

Yes, I would imagine a solar tender would help, as long as the vehicle is outdoors. It wouldn't make much difference while the vehicle is running. My goal with adding a tender was to ensure the battery stays up while sitting 1-2 weeks at a time. That is the same principle for a solar tender.
  13. Hybrid Battery Rundown Solution - Battery Tender ($55 total) w/Installation Photos

    1. On my 2025 there was a small 3/16" gap in the inner felt fender well that I could see light through. (See photo). I fished the charging wire through this gap. The end connector tucks quite nicely into the indentation of fender well at that location. If you run your finger along the inner...
  14. Hybrid Battery Rundown Solution - Battery Tender ($55 total) w/Installation Photos

This remote/BT added only uses 2mAh (48mAh per day), so I don't have much concern of current draw from the monitor device tainting the BMS calculation. If Ford were more precise on their battery usage and charging calculations we wouldn't be dealing with any of these battery replacement concerns.
  15. Hybrid Battery Rundown Solution - Battery Tender ($55 total) w/Installation Photos

The positive is essentially on the main battery cable under a small black flip cover. The black cover post I used is a hard connection to the red jumper post. I didn't want to have the ring terminal in the way of the other jumper post (Red flap) for jump starting. I left the factory nut on the...
  16. Hybrid Battery Rundown Solution - Battery Tender ($55 total) w/Installation Photos

    1. Yes,I keep the display on the tonneau back corner so I can view the voltage before opening doors or the key getting triggered. When driving I put in the console to monitor the battery. Will continue to keep external until I know the trending and behavior of the truck charging/rundown. My...
  17. Hybrid Battery Rundown Solution - Battery Tender ($55 total) w/Installation Photos

My Maverick is only 4 months old, but I've read quite a bit on the primary battery getting run down. Even though a 2025 model with a U.S. made FoMoCo battery, I didn't want to start down the whole battery replacement road. Bought a battery monitor set that has a remote BT monitoring panel...
