When our Lariat Hybrid is finally ready (!), the current plan is to travel to Chapman in Philadelphia to pick it up (visiting with friends in DC and VA on the way home). However, if a dealer within, say, 50 miles of Greenville, SC would be willing to do a courtesy delivery for $350 or less, it...
So, what arrives in today's mail but the January 2022 issue of Consumer Reports. [Maybe old news for those who read CR online, but new news for us dinosaurs...] The headline article is "The 10 Most Reliable New Cars." The Maverick is of course too new to be reviewed, but there are clues to...
can you PM me with your contact at Edwards? Their price is higher than the $250 at Atlanta dealers, but we might go for it anyway. Will think about this. Many thanks in advance.
Anyone else from SC going to Chapman for pickup? We ordered a Lariat Hybrid with Lux Pkg, 360, vault and all sorts of delaying features (spray on bedliner, tri-fold tonneau cover) on July 21 but are now #2 in order status. So we think January will be the time for our one-way train ride from...
Ed Simpson at Chapman has been an excellent communicator. He just let me know that our Lariat Hybrid (lux pkg, 360, spray in liner, tri-fold cover, vault, mats) has moved from Priority 10 (when ordered on 7/21) to priority 2.
I phoned the number, waited on hold 15 minutes (for the "Maverick team"), only to be told that my July 19 Lariat Hybrid Lux 360 order is not yet scheduled and they don't know when it will be.....
So, we have our Lariat Hybrid w/Lariat lux pkg, dated July 19. At the time we placed our order, the Lariat Lux pkg included the spray-on liner. I have seen conflicting messages on this thread as to whether the deletion of the spray-on liner from the Lux pkg will be retroactive, or will apply...
So, can we still get build notices, ship notices, etc. for our Hybrid, just not be able to close the deal at the dealership until 12/8? Our order was on July 19 (Lariat Hybrid, Lux pkg, tri-fold tonneau cover) and I was hoping for a November build.
Ed works at the sister dealership from Tom. The gap lease deal is not offered there. Plus, two trips to Philly would have been required (one to pick up the leased vehicle, one to pick up the Maverick).
