I recently saw that Ford is getting after dealers making dirty deals, i.e. big deposits and hefty mark ups etc. Mostly for the Lightning, but mentioned the Mach-E and Maverick as well.

I'm hearing of a couple folks putting down a deposit? No deposit is required to make an order. I ordered Oct. 2nd, my best guess from the posts on here are most are getting their Mav's in 6-8 months but puzzled on how a few I see get theirs in a few months of ordered date?

Dealers stock are marked up in varying amounts I'm seeing. Any customer orders are to be locked in prices. I ordered Oct 2nd. And See June orders coming still, that's 6 months. So I'm guessing maybe March-April for me? But I do see some folks orders come in at only a few months?? Also, I'm not...

Im in Virginia and have not seen any on the road but seen a few on a couple dealer lots and actually drove an FX4 a few months ago. Nice drive! Wounder if I should have bought it? But still waiting on my 1st edition AWD ordered Oct 2nd.

Anyone know how does the soft roll up bed cover hold up in a car wash with brushes? Do any of the other covers do better?

For me all the Northern VA dealers suck. Ive been buying from Battlefield Ford in Culpeper for more than 20 years and they have always taken care of me. Just my opinion, good luck fellow Maverick prospector.

About whats the cost to have the lift installed including parts? Or is it very easy to install for the average mechanically inclined Joe?
