I never noticed it was a tap and release thing. Changing lanes I always hold it down without moving it far enough to lock. Think everything I ever drove worked this way. Next time I drive I will take notice.
As far as notifying when the signal I left on, something I drove allowed you to set the...
When I lived in the country had a large garage and a modest collection of vehicles, equipment and arc. Cats. Had a total of 4all fixed. Lived in garage with a cat door, heat lamp and bed. Had to put up with cat tracks on trucks, but rodents didn’t live in the garage or other outbuildings...
We decided the 22 Gladiator High Altitude we bought was not really working for us when we decided to go to one vehicle. Went looking at various trucks and told the wife I wanted to go look at Mavericks. Drove the Jeep in and told a salesman we wanted to look at Mavericks. He smiled and said they...

Lowes, Home Depot,any supply houses.
The L on the trans controller is explained on page 186 in the 24 manual. On the eco boost it holds low gears. On the hybrid it likely uses the regeneration to do the same thing.
I googled this question and found this. In the 2024 manual directions are the same but on page 287. Small point I know, but the manual kinda sucks on finding info.
I have to look at this more. I was assuming the L. Button on Tremor and FX4 was to hold trans in lower gears preventing the trans from hitting overdrives on steep grades.
It’s not in my 24 Lariat Tremor. Dated 2/24. Either they had a supply problem and run the trucks through or some engineer decided they didn’t need it. I don’t see the harm. Maybe they were getting broken by the dealers disconnecting them in service. Who knows.
No, on IOS. when I used the location it asked for permission to use google maps. I use Apple Maps for my directions and like it better then google. Just figure google will sell info on where I bank, shop and anywhere I park.
There has always been two types of mechanics. Those that reach for a bigger hammer when having trouble, or those that step back, relax and look for a better way, consulting manuals and reading directions. Took me a few years to get to the second way.
