  1. Maverick vs. Ranger

We had an SXT show up on the base the other day, but I did have to think twice about it. Good looking truck. For me I want a little bit of truck with the better fuel economy, but buy what you need and sounds like the Ranger is the better fit.
  2. Potential buyer...car seats, 4k towing vs. FX4, and reliability questions

I don’t really view it as double dipping. You don’t get the trans cooler with just the FX4 package, and if you are going to be towing that much and don’t want to wreck your tranny that’s a pretty important feature. The FX4 is only $800. For that you get a nifty wheel set and tow hooks, bigger...
  3. 🧭 Track Your Maverick Order by VIN + Order Number [& Get Your Window Sticker]

  4. Maverick Commodity Constraints as of 10/27

I wonder what production would look like if the supply chain issues get worked out. Would suddenly production ramp up or are they already being built to capacity? My Tri-fold is my limiting factor, but i'm overseas and will be for at least a year with the truck so getting it after market is no...
  5. Mexico plant Maverick production suspended next week from November 1-5

I already wasn't scheduled to get mine un I already wasn't scheduled to get mine until next year, but I have a little bit of a crunch because I am supposed to have a year left on my orders when they ship or they won't be able to deliver. I wasn't really concerned about that before, but I am now.+
  6. Anybody else hoping their current vehicle lasts until your Maverick arrives?

I am in a 2010 Dodge Caravan. The van runs ok overall, but I just spent $1,800 on radiator, pipes, breaks and rotors. So I'd like to get out of it before it costs me any more money.
  7. Maverick vs Semi Head-On Collision = PSA: Don’t Drink and Drive!

Dang that sucks. I have only ever owned three brand new vehicles in my life. One of which was a 91' Ford Ranger. Had that less than three weeks, and hit black ice on I-25. flipped it. Totaled. I walked away. Had to roll down the passenger side window to get out. I was fortunate in that accident...
  8. Just picked up Lariat AWD 4K 300 mile HWY Ga. To NC mpg

That is a pretty basic MPH dial. Does it have the option to switch from MPH to Kilometers?
  9. BakFlip MX4 bed cover with Ford Bed Extender - Yes, they work together (pics + video)

I wanted the bed extender but my dealer said I couldn't order it with the tri-fold cover so I deleted it. Will get one after deliver though.
  10. Ford Letter to Hybrid Order Holders -- nearly sold out for 2022 + free FITS Accessory Kit

Do people really not understand the current manufacturing issues going on, or is it just me? I would love to have my Eco in early Feb, but I wasn't going to delete items that may hold up it's build, so it's whatever. This isn't even a new thing. Back in 79' my Dad special ordered a new Dodge...
  11. Maverick Tailgate Lettering in Polished Stainless Steel Are Actual Metal - Real Life Installed Look

I'm leaning black but need to see it in person. I feel like I wont have a grasp on what the color actually looks like until then.
  12. Western Washington

Seems like a lot of folks In WA ordered the FX4! I’m currently overseas but will be back in WA in just over a year with my Mav. I also ordered the FX4 Lariat with 4K. Mine will be Fire Pepper Red. I did order the Tonneau trifold so it might not get built until I’m already back… Wanting to pull...
  13. Understanding Chip Shortages

What I learned from this thread: Time magazine still exists. Huh, what do you know?

  15. Maverick Tailgate Lettering in Polished Stainless Steel Are Actual Metal - Real Life Installed Look

I’m definitely ordering a set but on the fence about what will look better with Fire Pepper Red.
  16. Maverick AWD Offroad Review by Driving Sports TV

This is exactly what I love about the Maverick. That it’s a versatile little truck that will save you money, be easy to park and do just enough 99% of the time. Capability is nice, but for 99.99% of truck owners they rarely come close to using it.
  17. 2022 Maverick Trailer Towing & GVWR / GCWR Guide

I am looking at that exact trailer to tow with my Lariat FX4 with 4k tow package (whenever it materializes). I had been focused on the weight as the trailer (they have 3 configurations) as a 1900 pound dry weight. I figured that gives me enough margin for whatever we want to take on weekend...
  18. 1227.7 Miles - An Unbiased Maverick Lariat Owner's Review

Very similar configuration to mine, so thanks for the excellent, detailed write up. Only complaint is you just made the wait for mine that much harder to take!
  19. AWD and FX4

That is exactly what I have in mind for it, light travel trailer at KOA campgrounds in Washington/Oregon about 10 weekends a year. I have no intention of going 'purposefully' off road with it.
