Same problem here. This is covered by your warranty. Just let your dealer know. They may have to order the correct parts but it won't cost you anything. I had my dealer fix mine while it was in for an oil change.
Go to the Ford web site to get the proper part number for the paint then go to Amazon and type in the MotorCraft part number. It should pop right up. not expensive and color match was spot on for my Area 51 Blue.
Many people have this problem. I messed with mine several times. I finally took it in for an oil change and, while there, I had them replace the plastic inserts, under warranty. It hasn't come loose since.
Hard to describe but picture a flattened u-shaped bracket with three mounting points. One point attaches to the running board, one to the truck body and the third has a threaded hole that a bolt goes through. The end of that bold holds a plate. That bolt acts like a set screw that tightens...
Found similar item on Amazon with stainless zip ties. Very secure mounting. No issues at all. Here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C7TL7C4L/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Pet peeve of mine is why can't we set our preferences and have them stay there. For me I like having the headlights on at all times and I drive in Eco mode most of the time. Unfortunately, I don't always remember to set my preferred driving or head light modes when I start up the car...
Pet peeve of mine is related to this. Why can't we set our preferences and have them stay there. For me I like having the headlights on at all times and I drive in Eco mode most of the time. Unfortunately, I don't always remember to set my preferred driving or head light modes when I start...
I backed into a lawn mower recently and put a nasty scratch (about 2.5 inches long) into my Maverick, along with several other minor surface scratches. Went on Amazon and ordered a 3M Scratch repair Kit and a Motorcraft Paint Pen. The results were excellent. The smaller scratches disappeared...
Same thing almost happened to me but the Dealer caught the change and made sure that the 2023 that I received had all of the options I had originally requested on my 2022 order.
This is a Dealer problem.
Last weekend I filled up my gas tank in my 23 EB Lariat AWD. The miles to empty "mtoE" read 352. I drove 160 miles up and over the Cascade mountains. When I got to my destination the mtoE read 325 miles. Apparently, I had only used about one gallon of gas on the trip. Unlikely I know...
I also used the Harbor Freight bed extender to haul two 10 foot kayaks in my 23 EB. I have the factory installed hitch. I had zero in the way of problems. I don't think they make a stronger hitch for passenger vehicles. The installed hitch should carry anything your vehicle can tow.
I used a Harbor Freight bed extender ($60.00) and some rachets straps and bungee cords to haul two 10-foot kayaks securely. I put rugs under and between the boats to reduce chaffing. Very easy to use and I don't have to lift a kayak over my head or climb up into the bed to secure the boats.ure...
What is the model name on the racks and cross bars. I was on Thule's/Yakima's web sites but they say that they can't guarantee any of their models will fit a 23 Maverick. Having a model Name and, if possible, a link would be most helpful. Thanks.
I had the same issue and posted about it under Fit and Finish. Basically, once you have everything lined up with the bolts started but not tight and the studs on the light fit firmly into the sockets (so you think they are fully installed) on the truck then just give the taillight a couple of...
