I don't; I think this issue may be normal for hybrids.
The dealership told me they do not know anything yet until they start investigating a few days later. even I leave my truck to the dealership, but their mechanics might find nothing. and simply say, "well, when I checked up, everything was...
It happens when I set up MAX AC, which means the AC compressor is powered by an electric motor in full power. when ICE turns on or reaches the proper interior temperature, it will be less noisy.
I visited the dealership, and they said just leave the truck for 4 days, then their mechanics will look up the issue a few days later from today. So I just came back home for now.
I asked for any customer experience about this, and then they said no idea and never seen before.
Hmm maybe you are right, I just tested with MAX AC turn on, then I could hear the noise again.
I do not remember the night of video when I recorded, was MAX AC on or not.
I will test it more I hope not a technical issue. Thank you for your idea.
I drove my Maverick hybrid since last week, but I heard this noise 4 times until now.
I couldn't hear this today. I am not sure which condition causes this noise.
This noise happened immediately after turning on my maverick. So I think ICE was off in that moment.
I pushed the AC button to off...
I tested my 24 hybrid maverick. exactly I could run 200~220miles with half of fuel(start with full), so I think 400-450 miles on Highway with full fuel.(indicator said 30MPG) When I stay in city traffic, more stops mean raising my MPG. but I didn't test in city.
