Me too! The tonneau cover can only flip back 2/3rds unfortunately on the lowest telescoping setting, but I intend on using the trunk for storage while camping so I donāt really need to open it all the way anyways. My use case is for a pop up camper ontop. Even installed a hoist in my garage to...
I would love brighter headlights, but this product isn't applicable to Ford Mavericks? To my understanding, you can only replace the entire headlight housing which usually costs $1000+ š¤
Hey all- stupid question,
I have a 23 Hybrid XL FWD- Does anyone know if it actually has a PTU or not? I checked the owners manual and itās not very clear. From my researching and what Iāve read, it seems like you would only have a PTU / RTU if you have AWD.
Just wanted to do a quick sanity...
I was thinking this too since I can probably pick one up thatās already pretty depreciated, i could probably resell it next year and get most of my money back.
idk if I can bring myself to get another ranger since I totaled my current one. I feel like I will be taking a step sideways instead of...
Iām so worried about buying something used to hold me over because I feel like Iāll be throwing that money away I otherwise could throw down now on a Maverick. Unless Iām able to get a used car that is already depreciated. Like I said in the post I was thinking about getting a fusion, Iām just...
Yeah, Iāve decided to not go through with it. I appreciate all the input I got. Yāall have made a lot of good points and reinforced some of the concerns I already had. Feels sketch and doesnāt seem like a good idea. Better to play it safe.
If I can get an XL this week for around the same price...
Yup, I considered this too. Iāve called a lot of places and itās usually the same story. āOh yeah itās available, weāre asking 5k+ over MSRP. Oh, it said it was MSRP online? Oh man thatās crazy, oops.ā Or āyeah thatās not available, itās a customer order. If they cancel weāll call you (but just...
Sure- but competition is always high for any mavericks nowadays. Unfortunately I donāt think more time will help, and I need a car asap so Iām SOL. Gotta love living somewhere car dependent lol.
Yeah, thatās what Iām hoping for. Hopefully tomorrow Iāll have the privilege of overpaying for a XL. š Lesson learned, donāt wreck your car before your 2024 delivery.
I get what you mean. My thought process was it might make more sense to get a truck now (not necessarily the salvaged one anymore) because when I go to resell the sedan itāll have depreciated at least half. Long term financially, might be better to bite the bullet now which should save me money...
I noticed that too. Wasnāt going to let them get me on any financing, but i get what you mean. Red flags. Wouldnāt put it past them to sell a sketchy salvaged vehicle. Chances are it would be fine, but itās an unnecessary risk. :/
Yeah pretty much what I figured. The smart thing would be to not mess around and find out. Is it really worth gambling your life over a slightly cheaper maverick. š¤
Yup. The financing wouldnāt be a problem in this case, but I see your point. Seems like the only good salvage deals would be vehicles that are already very depreciated.
Well, yes it is salvage title but physically itās not like itās actually wrecked. Or if it was, then it was fixed. But itās seeming like itās not even worth my time even drive there and find out lol
Iām assuming for multiple reasons like Insurance, resale value, risk of problems, etc? But itās not like itās salvaged as in physically wrecked and rebuilt, so it seems.. Of course I donāt know the full story yet but is buying vehicles with salvaged titles really just for fools then? :/
Yeah, smells like a bad idea so it probably is. Itās just very frustrating, I feel just as silly paying a markup on an XL but I donāt think I have a better option. Probably smarter long term to get a clean title, especially if Iām concerned about making smart financial choices.
