You will have to splice the plywood length-wise or side-wise... IMHO a PITA.

Congratulations on your new truck. BTW: To me it appears that the 8.5" screen is so dark that I could hardly even tell if it was turned on. Is it that dim in real life in bright conditions [such as sunlight through the windshield]? Does it appear any brighter in person???

They told me they would order my Maverick at MSRP; no dealer mark-up. So I asked specifically about the fees. Included was a $895 "dealer fee". Deal killer for me...

It will run most [?] laptops; but won't run a drill rated much [if any] over 400 watts. NOT the large, industrial grade ones. That limits you to about half a horsepower motor.

It's a different vehicle; different size, weight and at least some internals. The MPG is likely to change with some vehicle changes. Thus the perceived need for EPA testing and approval. AFTER it gets EPA approval they will start selling; but not until then.

But still with ZERO confirmed deliveries??? Is that not right?

They may or may not need a "certified government test to sell"; but THEY DO NEED EPA PERMISSION.

It doesn't necessarily hold up production; but specifically prohibits sale.

They can build it; they just can't sell it to you. Let us know how you like it as soon as you get your first drive in it...

Ford can't deliver any hybrids until EPA [or whatever] approves it. Last I heard it is believed to be 12/8/21. Is that still correct???
