2000 miles in 7 weeks since new - has been bulletproof, and we're extremely pleased with the truck, as well as the dealer experience (see signature below for details). Over 41 mpg, overall, most of it highway miles.
As it turns out, @TedTX posted a video on this (post #3 on an August 2022 MTC thread):
https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/looking-into-running-1500w-3000w-start-inverter.18952/
From later in that thread, it looks like using the jump points under the hood for the inverter input is...
When you tested running the 1500w inverter from your Hybrid Mav, did you attach it to the jump points under the hood or directly to the 12v battery under the back seat?
I'm exploring options to run a few items in our home during power outages, especially the forced air gas furnace . . . in the...
I provided a lot of Maverick ordering info (2023 Order Guide, Atlas Blue system glitch when order banks opened, etc.) to my salesman, and he apparently reciprocated . . . As evidenced by the Atlas Blue Hybrid XL with the Tow Hitch now sitting in my garage.
I've said it before: Try to help...
Which Tonneau Cover are you getting? Is it from RealTruck? And what is the price? I'm currently looking for a tonneau for my XL delivered to me a month ago, but the tri-folds (soft and hard) I've been looking at are currently unavailable or have a several week shipping delay.
Thanks in advance!
Argentina also has a current inflation rate of about 100% annually. And the Mav Hybrid price listed in the article is roughly $68,000 US Dollars. Can't imagine Ford selling a lot of them there at that price.
AM reaches many (perhaps most?) areas that have no cellular coverage. During an emergency AM may be the only available source of information for many, so it should be considered a vehicle safety feature. For those who think 47 cents is far too great a cost (LOL), you should be able to recoup...
Kendall Ford of Kenai did a fantastic job from placing my order all the way through to delivery. The staff were knowledgeable, experienced, kind, and above all honest.
They sell customer-ordered Mavericks at MSRP and honored price protection, Farm Bureau $500 rebate, and gave me a fair price...
The only case I’ve heard of orders being transferred to another dealer is when the original dealership ceases operations. Lots of people here on MTC ordered from multiple dealers, apparently with some success.
And continue to read the posts here on Maverick Truck Club (MTC). Nearly everything I know about ordering a Maverick came from our friends here. When the order banks opened back in September for the 2023 MY, my salesman didn't even have copies of the Order Guide and Pricelist. So I sent him...
My Maverick is currently in shipment (in Texas today), but is not listed on my dealer's website. However, the site does list other new trucks in inventory (F-150's, etc.) and clearly identifies the ones that are still in transit. So this apparently indicates that my dealer does not advertise...
Yesterday Ford Tracking updated my truck to "Built", so it's waiting for shipment now.
Hang in there to get all the features you need. It will be worth the wait, and I think Hermosillo adding the 3rd shift in July will further boost your odds of being built this MY. Especially since there is...
I agree with the theory earlier in the thread that Ford may be having Order Database issues.
My Mav was scheduled Feb 9th for the week of Mar 27 with the VIN provided, so at that point I began checking the Order Tracker regularly. Shortly after that the Tracker showed it scheduled for the week...
I'd keep it until (or if) your XLT Lux gets a scheduled week and a VIN. You'd probably still be able to receive another good "over-MSRP" offer on the XL at that time and could go ahead and sell it. That way you would only be Maverickless until/if the new one hopefully arrives. Sure it's a...
