I've considering doing the same, but will probably keep it on my order. If Ford could build my Hybrid XL at all, maybe they can find a hitch/wiring harness laying around to go with it . :ROFLMAO: I'm putting all my '23 MY chips on the 3rd shift being added in July, since I want the truck I need.

I still use my 2000 S-10 LS regular cab 4 cylinder as a spare vehicle and it's been a great truck (leased new for 3 yrs. and then bought it at a discount from residual value - those were the days!). And it still gets 24-25 mpg highway. The Maverick Hybrid is what I really want, but if an S-10...

The salesperson at my small dealership also seems reluctant provide info on their allocations, but they have been pretty straight about everything else. Yesterday they told me that all their 2023 Maverick COVP's were still pending with Ford, but did provide me with a 6-digit tracking number.

Carmax has greedily supported the inflation bubble for vehicles, and I for one am glad that they are now paying a huge price for it. Y'all can flame me if you want, but I think it's way past time for our country to make a big reduction in inflation, and greed is not a sustainable long-term...

Alaska. Will be running studs on the steelies in winter, and it will be lodged in our garage that doesn't freeze. Plan to buy better wheels for the stock tires for summer. Of course, all of that only happens if the Mav actually shows up!
