  1. The 12 volt battery saga continues (Deep Sleep)

Tarrifs won't save bad quality. Survival of the fittest usual prevails and they are at best, middle of the road mediocre.
  2. The 12 volt battery saga continues (Deep Sleep)

Because it fairs better with the constant drain. The truck won't start with a dead 12v battery because it runs all necessary systems and accessories. You should be asking Ford that question not a buyer. Come on we aren't stupid.
  3. The 12 volt battery saga continues (Deep Sleep)

Nice....They just keep stacking bullshit verbiage and no fix. It's like oh yeah, oh well we know. It's ok you have a warranty, no worries. The Ford Quality or lack of shit show. They just had 2 more recalls this week. Thank goodness not on a Maverick again.
  4. Ford replacing with AGM

My last battery replacement was a 470 CCA flooded. Original was 370 CCA. After 2 1/2 months it is starting to degrade, sometimes showing in the 50% capacity range at 100% charge. I purchased the truck 11 months ago. We'll see if it starts the no lights, radio and dash low battery power shut...
  5. Old Guy Exterior Additions

    Nice!!!!! LMAO Gatorbait.
  6. Recalls and more issues

Well looks like Ford has 2 new Safety Recalls, although not related to Mavericks. Possible Brake failure in 130,000 vehicles due to fluid leak. And a 3rd earlier one, where the vehicle can shift from, I believe Reverse to Drive.
  7. Recall

What's the Recall for. There are so many. Ford just announced 2 more this week. Not related to Maverick this time.
  8. HV Battery replacements - how common is this?

Your right. I wonder if there is a depreciation clause where you have to partially pay for anything, especially the battery. Seems like something Ford would sneak in.
  9. HV Battery replacements - how common is this?

What if data collection is turned off. Will they be able to pull up history. Should be able to.
  10. Are these floormats any good

I take my shoes off when entering my truck.
  11. Maverick-Blackwood

That can't be real, but I'm looking at with my own eyes. It must be?
  12. Maverick-Blackwood

Where can I get one! LMAO
  13. Maverick-Blackwood

What about a Maverick Camper Special, a Dually or Super Duty.
  14. Maverick-Blackwood

Some are willing to pay a high cost for status and look at me factor.
  15. Maverick-Blackwood

Middle to late 90s into early 2000s. Really!
  16. Are these floormats any good

Buy Weathertech. The best quality and made in the US instead of China, India and Thailand. Do we need import duties to save us from ourselves.
  17. Maverick-Blackwood

That's back when a full sized truck wasn't much if at all, larger than a midsized. Due to marketing and the CAFE standards truck makers used to build giant, lush, more expensive trucks. Which leads me to this one. Volunteering to pay a higher price for badging and status. Trucks actually got...
  18. HV Battery replacements - how common is this?

I drive it everyday and I'm not buying the excuses for dead batteries when they admitted there is a problem. Yes, I disconnect the battery in the classic. I understand all that you say and the technology. It seems that anytime the 12v battery is mentioned we have the blue ovals attack or make...
  19. HV Battery replacements - how common is this?

12 volt was mentioned. I was responding to that. Thanks
  20. HV Battery replacements - how common is this?

I have 5 vehicles. One is a classic I drive once every 2 months. I've Never used a trickle charger and it is 8 years old and 12.9 volts resting. My Maverick 10 months old and on my second battery that is being killed. Out of 3 other vehicles only one dead battery a months after purchase, That...
