So will now us Carbonized Gray First Edition folks emerge as a new "forgotten" subset for order purposes? 🤣
In all seriousness, this is really good news, even if it ends up only EB models yet again.
Oh agreed...I ordered from Granger (Iowa) so given the hybrids being largely passed over for the time being I could be facing a nasty drive home. I may be ordering the snow tires and having them installed before I leave Iowa. LOL
This is my first truck so I can't speak from experience, but my only concern with the Amazon route would be specific fit for the Maverick. Others here could definitely speak more intelligently on this one....
What I take from all of this is to sit back and wait until the November production scheduling announcements begin so I can check whether my Last Edition Hybrid is selected! 🤣🤔🤣
I don't have a set "give up" date by any means, but I also don't feel like clearing 150k miles on my current car before I replace it (I'll come close to that number by Summer 2022). Since I want a viable hybrid that isn't pretty tiny, I'm actually keeping an eye on the Kia Sorento Hybrid.
I'm actually glad it's the trifold on the First Edition, but then again I have an unscheduled hybrid order so I won't have to worry about using it anytime soon. 🤣
Based upon this pricing sheet it appears that the B&P soft folding tonneau cover is a trifold (as opposed to a soft rolling version). I'd be good with that if that's the case.
I'm definitely not in the bashing Ford group, but I am in the "my car is quickly building up a ton of miles so I need to be open to other options" group.
If this indeed includes retail orders and extends for a good while, it might be time for me to start shopping for something else....Of course that assumes anything else I'd want is actually available anytime soon.
Well if that schedule holds I can sit back and relax and NOT watch for an email this week either. I've actually found that to be relaxing because there won't be any "will it or won't it" for me!
I'm hoping for December as well, but my gut says more like Jan or Feb at this point. I'll revisit the tonneau cover constraint issue when the November scheduling dates start hitting to see if I need to drop down to a "regular" Lariat Lux without a cover.
