  1. Family-use review of Ford Maverick (Micah Drives)

My wife is around the same height as well (5' 3"). My son is young (9 months as of now), but the car seat will be a thing for a good long while. I see that you and I ordered around the same time. Best of luck on getting that build date! I have a feeling we'll get our dates in the coming weeks.
  2. DIY bike rack

https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/picture-located-mountain-bike-tail-gate-cover-pad-on-maverick-bed.650/ No need to remove the wheel either. Another option is bed cross bars and a Yakima Front Loader or something similar. cheapest route would be the pipe rack that someone posted.
  3. Family-use review of Ford Maverick (Micah Drives)

I feel like this video was crafted just for me. The Maverick they're reviewing is my exact build down to the lux and 360 packages, rear sliding window, and color. I also have a young child that needs a carseat. Other than the usual youtube review/influencer annoying spiel (how many times to they...
  4. ⏱ Maverick Scheduling Upcoming Week (11/15) For 3 Production Build Weeks: 1/3/22 – 1/17/22 !

Yup. And even if everything is made domestically in the US, doesn't mean that it will prevent resource shortages in the future. I love living in the US, but the US still needs to import many things for manufacturing. The world doesn't revolve around us.
  5. DIY bike rack

Even tied down hard like that I have a feeling a sharp turn would tip the bike. I would think a tailgate bike pad would be more secure.
  6. No Maverick Scheduling Next Week (11/22)

It might not be for awhile. There are still many people who ordered in June and July that haven't received production dates yet. I would figure the older orders would have some priority. However, depending on what your build is and your dealer allocations, you might get scheduled earlier than...
  7. Thinking Ford missed target age

I would say most of the target demo (people in their 20s, non-truck buyers) wouldn't join a forum like this one when they have reddit and facebook groups. That's why we see more people here that are out of that demographic. Forums tend to skew towards older people. I'm 42, btw.
  8. ⏱ Maverick Scheduling Upcoming Week (11/15) For 3 Production Build Weeks: 1/3/22 – 1/17/22 !

Seriously. For having three weeks scheduled it seemed awfully slow. I have a feeling that the 11/29 scheduling week might be a big one for people.
  9. Tailgate lettering

    also easy to steal.
  10. 📣 11/18 Scheduling Email Received Group [Emails showing up]

I believe it's 180 Mavericks. He said other than Galpin, their dealership has one of the highest amount of orders. I don't know if he meant just in California or nationwide.
  11. 📣 11/18 Scheduling Email Received Group [Emails showing up]

I talked to the online salesperson at my dealer (Sunrise Ford in North Hollywood, CA) to ask about their allocations and they say they have about 40 cars scheduled so far out of the 180. 130 of those orders are Hybrid. He also let me know that all their orders including mine changed to priority...
  12. 📣 11/18 Scheduling Email Received Group [Emails showing up]

Seemed like a light week considering it's supposed to be 3 weeks of build dates. Oh well.
  13. 📣 11/18 Scheduling Email Received Group [Emails showing up]

Wonder if today is gonna be a late day email, or if the emails will send out on Friday, which has happened before.
  14. Weathertech Rear Seat Floor Mats available in 4-6 weeks

90% likely they will not say Maverick on them.
  15. Car Seats

Thanks! We have a Graco 4-in-1 so it's nice to see a real world use case for my future truck.
  16. Storage behind rear seat - this this would work?

I like this idea. I wouldn't see why it wouldn't work, provided the gear isn't too thick. I don't remember how much of a gap there is when the seat is put back upright when I looked at it.
  17. ⏱ Maverick Scheduling Upcoming Week (11/15) For 3 Production Build Weeks: 1/3/22 – 1/17/22 !

I would think the Pilot could go on for another 100k miles easy as long as it's maintained.
  18. Doug Demuro 2022 Ford Maverick XLT FX4 Review: Affordable, Practical Pickup Truck

I love his reviews and enjoy how he points out little quirks and features that no one really considers. It’s his thing. Just like I watch Alex on Autos for all the techy more dry stuff. Doug also gives a truly honest opinion when most YouTube “reviewers” tend to play it safe for fear of not...
  19. Auto Insurance on the Maverick

As an Impreza Sport owner without Eyesight this makes me happy to know I might be paying less for insurance. (Though my wife's Mustang Mach-E will make things more expensive than her former Civic).
