I'm puzzled about my Lariat Lux FX4 4k order:
sent to the plant on October 14th
body shop on the 22nd
"produced" on 27th
released to the body company on the 28th
returned from the body company on the 29th
This was the last update my dealer was able to give me - and the tracker website still...
I think I have the same thing going on with mine. My dealer was kind enough to give me some additional details:
Status
ETA
Primary
Secondary
Vehicle Location
Status Date / Time
Start Date
End Date
ETA Disposition
In Production
Returned from Body Company
Ford Hermosillo...
My Lariat Lux FX4 4k has been in production since October 14th, but then the tool updated and said production actually started on the 27th. Modules showed live around that time as well. Checking this morning, it still shows the truck is in production. Delivery date says November 16th, which...
My F-150 5.0 always shows at least 1 mpg better than what I calculate by hand. So when the screen is showing 18 mpg on the current trip, I'm actually getting between 16.5 and 17 mpg in reality.
I just checked and I have all of the BCE addresses, which means the truck should be built (or close to it) in the last day or so. The tracker website still says that it is "in production" however. Hopefully that will change in the next day or so, as the tracker also says my estimated delivery...
My order went into production on the 15th, so it's been nearly two weeks in this status. I emailed my dealer to see if they had any further details, but they haven't gotten back to me. A bit frustrating considering the tracking tool says that the build phase takes "a few days".
For those of you who have already received your Maverick, or is in some status past "in production", how long was it in production? The order tracking page says it could take a "few days" to get through this step. I'm currently on day ~7. What have you experienced?
It probably helps that the Bronco Sport and Maverick share a lot of parts, and assembling them is probably fairly similar. A technician who can put together a Bronco Sport probably needs little training and ramp up time to do the same for the Maverick.
Of course I say this with absolutely no...
You would probably get it in November. I know this because as a June orderer, people who ordered in September are being scheduled before my own!
(Sarcasm can be hard to read online at time...)
Your best bet is to call/email the dealership you ordered from. If they aren't helpful, you can call Ford at 1-800-334-4375, but expect to wait on hold for a long time.
In my case, my order is a Lariat Lux with an ecoboost and AWD. The only thing I can think of why I haven't been scheduled is that my dealer is at their max allocations now. But it's still frustrating, because someone else who ordered from the same dealership, ordering almost the same package...
Congrats! I ordered almost the exact same package as you on 6/17 (except in carbonized grey and with the FX4 package) and I have no build date yet. The frustrating thing is that I also ordered from Gaudin Ford...Maybe I should have gone with Ford Country in Henderson...
It's definitely a...
