What did your build sheet you signed say?
The XLT Lux I ordered mid November was subbed out for a drop-in, but it was shown on the build sheet I signed.
Ford's Maverick build configurator now shows that the XLT Lux comes with a spray-in again. I thought there were a few weeks in November...
I hope this isn't old news, but the XLT Lux package on Ford's site now says Spray-in again.
I ordered 11/12 and was subbed with a drop-in. I was displeased, but wasn't going to let it hold up the order. I checked the build configurator on Ford's site a week later and also saw they replaced...
A thread chaser would be more appropriate. Reduces the risk of double cutting threads if you don't have a good lead in catch.
Edit - it's easy to make your own thread chaser cutting slits into an extra M8 bolt. I imagine it would work just fine clearing bedliner out of a threaded hole.
I like the OBD install. Too bad the camera is only rated to -4°F Storage and 14°F Operating minimum temperatures. That's the one challenge in Minnesota is waiting 10 minutes into your drive for your camera to turn on because it finally came to temp...
Not sure I buy this 100%.
Quick google and Continental Tire recommends storing mounted tires standing upright or hanging and unmounted stacked... Not sure that it matters that much anyways.
Is the bed rack system easy to remove when not needed?
Mind providing what your total cost of the system was (cover+rails+racks)?
I did not know Elevate TS rails existed. I was wondering the options for Cover+Racks and this seems to be the ticket. Are you aware of other rack systems that work...
The dealer let me test fit my dog's smaller travel kennel this morning. Fit with room to spare. His kennel is 28Lx20.5Wx21.5H. The larger house kennel we have is 25"W at the bolted flanges and may be too big...
I am also interested in this. I have a small black lab who's medium-large kennel fits in the back seat of my 08 silverado crew. I didn't think about this until after ordering mine.
I just put in my order for an XLT Lux this afternoon and brought this to the dealer's attention. He was told that the XLT Lux price will drop $150 to reflect the price difference between spray-in and drop-in. There was no guarantee of this and essentially told me "it is what it is". The spec...
Has anyone else been able to come to a resolution with their dealer? I currently have my build sheet with the drop-in spec'd. I would prefer no liner and some form of credit. I hope I get offered the $210 credit with no liner. I'll get a mat for $100 aftermarket and call it good.
Just genuinely...
Lux package?
"Heated mirror with body color skull caps"
OP - how do you like the 4.2" productivity screen? Did you have an opportunity to compare it to the larger?
It seems like more resolution is needed in these payload specifications. Equal packaged trucks are not the same. Would be nice to know what each option weighs/removes from payload. Seems like the moon roof and full sized spare may be knocking off over 100lbs?
Has anyone equipped their moonroof'd Maverick with roof racks? Were there any issues?
Side question: Does anyone know how much the moonroof weighs? i.e. what's the reduced payload capacity due to it?
This is purely speculation:
I see that the Maverick has the ability to temporarily disable the awd system.
This is what it states in the manual:
ALL-WHEEL-DRIVE - INFORMATION MESSAGES
AWD OFF
The all-wheel drive system temporarily turns off to protect
itself from overheating or if you are...
