Ah! I'll read through that. Thanks for the link. So - my hazard issue may be only due to LEDs. It wouldn't explain the RH light intermittently failing when it had the incandescent bulb in it.

Unfortunately, I ordered the cover before I got the truck and I'm outside of the return window. I learned that the piece of edge trim that the front cross-bar clip interferes with is glued onto the DIBL and can't be removed. The alternative would be modifying the plastic clip with a die grinder...

And you have the lariat lux (I assume SIBL). So maybe this isn't an issue of the DIBL but just it's compatibility with the Maverick (or just a bad cover design?). The X15 otherwise has really good reviews.
