I still have my order from Sept. 2022 in. I will likely place multiple orders across multiple dealers in July if I still don't have a build date, but at some point, especially if there is a viable Hybrid competitor, I will have to walk away from Ford. Very disappointed that Honda is asleep at...
EB was never a "best choice for me to begin with". I was only ever (and remain today) interested in a Hybrid version of this truck. If Honda or Hyundai had Hybrid (or better yet, Plug-In Hybrid) versions of their pickup trucks available, I would have purchased it and never looked back.
It was...
It would be nice to have data between the difference of using straight gas vs the Ethanol Blends. I always would get "Better" mileage when I used straight gas (when available, sometimes hard to find) vs when I put in the "up to 15% ethanol" blends. Just another variable to consider if hoping to...
This is the Vehicle I want to buy (Lariat Hybrid). Like javaguy89 said, it could be my first Ford purchase, it could be my last, or if there was ANYTHING else available on the market, then I would not have to deal with this frustration and nonsense that is the Ford Motor Company.
The Reality...
Not commenting on or addressing ROI, which can also be subjective, the Singer's are a pretty good value for what you can pick them up today. I like them because they are Rear Wheel Drive, good HP and you can get them with the standard transmission. Should be a pretty fun CAR to drive.
Also to clarify, I'm not saying that ARE or Leer (or anyone else) does not have a license with Ford, they can and there may be some benefits to doing so. But I was just stating that the do not require a license to market aftermarket products that fit Fords or any other brands vehicles.
Just an FYI, nobody needs any "License" from Ford to Design, Manufacture, and or Market a Truck cap for the Maverick or any other Truck sold on the open market. That doesn't mean that said entities can't cooperate or seek Ford's approval. I'm just curious why you chose the word License in this...
nobody bothered to comment on what a Dumpster Fire Garbage "Website" MotorBiscuit is.
They run all kinds of clickbait fantasy. If you hear it from Motor Trend, Car & Driver, Autoweek, or some actually established motoring organization, then ok, but from MotorBiscuit, not a chance.
Was your Deposit over the standard $500. Even with interest rates going up, most savings accounts aren't paying didley. So while your comment bout earning interest in your own account is technically valid, the amount of interest you would actually be missing out on is less than peanuts.
I'm tired of Ford being FUBAR. This would be my First Ford Purchase ever (I'm 55) but they are doing everything in their power to convince me to buy some other brand. If Hyundai or Honda had a Hybrid option, it would be a no-brainer done deal for me.
Just saw this Maverick for Rent, $19.95 Per Day in the Costco parking lot. It's wearing standard UHAUL Livery.
I guess it could be one way for you to have a little more time with the truck than trying to get a test drive from a Local Dealer that doesn't have any on the lot......
I couldn't...
yes, my three years in Law School, Passing Multiple Bar Exams, and then practicing Law for 11 years demonstrates that I'm just blowing smoke.
I stand by what I wrote above. It is not based on conjecture.
