I am an Oct 8th confirmed order, received this email. However, my order is just the basic XL hybrid order, no constraints at all. Sad news is still no VIN or scheduled yet. I am trying to be optimistic, however, it is not easy staying optimistic for the 1st time Ford buyer.

Why paying off or refinance can cover the 5k markup over MSRP? Sorry for my poor financial knowledge.

I am not sure if our order code means the sequence number we are placed into Ford's order system.

My original plan was a SUV, possible a toyota RAV4. However, once I found the Ford Maverick from this forum, either the price, or the configurations, I think everything of Maverick (especially the most basic hybrid) beats a RAV4 a lot.
