    My out the door was quoted by the dealer at about $31,600 - XLT - msrp with a few dealer installed junk. This was before the price hike. At this point, I don't know what to expect?

    Try and negotiate the price. Dealer ESP are generally too high!

    Got my Dear Maverick letter as well. Contacted dealer awhile back and they are clueless. They said they receive the same info I get from Ford. I call Ford marketing regularluy and get nowhere!

    I called Ford Motor this morning about the status of my Maverick order. NADA! However, the rep told me I had a Ford Truck owner direct certificate. I called my dealer and was told the ctf could be anywhere from $500 to $2500. Is anyone familiar with this? TIA

    It is greed on the part of the dealers. However, they can't be greedy if foks don't buy over msrp? In my opinion, most dealers are swine! Not too mention crazy doc fees.
