  1. How many Mavericks... Are There??

I see them everywhere these days. In January of 2024, I could barely find one to look at before I ordered mine. When I did see one in the wild (okay actually a parking lot, not too wild) I had to stalk out the owner so I could ask him questions. Of course, he gave me all the right answers I...
  2. Just noted hidden storage at ends of under rear seat storage area.

I miss the Trunk Monkey option,
  3. What's up with my MPG on the Hwy with my Hybrid?

It takes some time to figure out all of the tricks on driving a hybrid to maximize the MPG. Cruise control is your friend on those highway drives. Punching it a bit, then letting it settle back down helps too. Just find a route that is all downhill and watch the MPG soar! Seriously though, my...
  4. Remote start from phone?

For some reason, my app started working again for the Remote Features. 2 Days ago, I took my Mav for a long drive because we had snow coming yesterday-no sooner than I got in the house the Remote Features Disabled message popped up. I went to the Ford website, hit the chat button to ask which...
  5. 2025 T-Boned 🥲

From the picture it looks like only 1 airbag deployed, was anyone in the passenger seat? Hope everyone is okay. Sorry to see that.
  6. New car break-in period has me full of regret

I was curious what my real actual mileage would be on the Hybrid. Now mostly I do in city driving but have taken a few trips. With 4041.1 miles, I have spent a total of $285.44 in gas on 103.469 gallons *(average price per gallon is 2.75) my average MPG has been 39.055 miles per gallon...
  7. What's your "One" Pet Peeve

My biggest pet peeve is having to pick the drive mode I want to be in each and every time I start it up. It would be nice if it remembered that you drive in Sport Mode or Eco Mode. I will be halfway down the road and remember I didn't set it.
  8. Remote start from phone?

There is a known issue with this. I had taken my into the dealer last week to have the battery tested and my battery was fine, but the solution from Ford is coming via a software download by the end of the 1st Quarter of 2025. Hopefully sooner, since it is so cold outside and remote starting...
  9. FordPass rewards

One tip I have found is to make your purchases separate. Each separate purchase will add a tier till you reach Blue. I waited till I received my Mav then ordered the seat covers, then a couple of days later ordered the floor mats and a few days after that the bed mat. At the end of the year...
  10. Rear window fogging.

That is what the dealer suggested me to do, take it on a longer drive and that would charge up the battery. The app keeps sending me a message that the Remote Features are disabled to preserve battery. I was hoping to prevent that message from coming back up, thus took it for a much longer...
  11. Rear window fogging.

The fun part is when your Maverick is an outside vehicle and you get hit with an ice storm, then the remote start feature doesn't work. Even after driving it an extra hundred miles the day before so the battery would be all charged up.
  12. I am getting very frustrated.

While you are still new to your Maverick, you might check to see if the Guided Virtual Tour is available for you. It is a 30 minute or so session with a Ford Rep via your phone (video call) to go over features and answer questions. You might want to get that scheduled, in a little bit so you...
  13. Ford Motor Company Announcement [CLOSED AND WARNINGS HANDED OUT DUE TO POLITICS]

This is disappointing on Ford Motor Company's behalf. While many of these post from Maverick Owners and future Maverick buyers are helpful tricks and tips - and owners trying to find solutions to issues they have experienced. Since Ford doesn't let you email them, yet they feel free to email...
  14. First 2025 Mavericks have been delivered!

Congrats on the new MY25 Mav! I thought I had read Ford was going to hold these for 6 weeks after production, so I was surprised to the see this was already delivered. I guess the value of our previous year models all just dropped a bit today.
  15. Ford points DROPPED as of 10/1/24

I did get 42,000 in April when I purchased my Maverick.
  16. Say you had the cash to buy a Maverick outright and not have to make payments.

I purchased it outright. Ordered it, (got it $750 under MSRP) waited 4 months and handed my dealer a check.
  17. Say you had the cash to buy a Maverick outright and not have to make payments.

I paid cash. One of the nice things about that is avoiding the $695 acquisition fee "to Ford Credit cover the cost of acquiring and servicing the account"
  18. Are maverick prices due to crash?

What crash? If you are talking about the economy - Stock market is at an all-time high, unemployment is relatively low, inflation is easing, gas prices are low, the Fed is starting to lower interest rates, people are making more money than ever before...the economy is strong and strong enough...
  19. Who all here currently has an XL or has one on order?

2024 XL Hybrid with Co Pilot 360 and trailer hitch. Averaging around 45 mpg so far.
