I spray wash mine all the time. Sometimes at a car wash or sometimes at home with a garden hose. Very light pressure. (I do cover the fuse area) Spay with a cleaner. Agitate with an appropriate soft engine brush. Spray rinse. Finish with a no wipe engine finish.

I would never get the 12" screen. It looks ridiculous. Like a 72" flat screen tv in a 12x8 living room. I will be going for the sync 4 upgrade but keeping my current screen. With the $150 trade in it comes to $850.
You're misunderstanding. Infotainment is explaining that you can use Sirius XM two ways. You can use it via the embedded native platform or by using your phone via Android Auto. You can also do that with currently with Sync 3.

I had the battery replaced and the software update a month ago. The very next day it went into sleep mode and I was none too happy. However, it apparently took a day to learn the update and I have had no issues since.
