You're misunderstanding. Infotainment is explaining that you can use Sirius XM two ways. You can use it via the embedded native platform or by using your phone via Android Auto. You can also do that with currently with Sync 3.

The default is about 80%. You can use Forscan to increase to anything you want. Most change it to 95% but increasing it all is somewhat controversial.

I had the battery replaced and the software update a month ago. The very next day it went into sleep mode and I was none too happy. However, it apparently took a day to learn the update and I have had no issues since.
