Need to ping my dealer to remove them from mine as I didn't get an e-mail about being scheduled yet. But from another thread I found:

I think this question would be different if the sales were locked in, etc.. but as others have posted most people have at most a deposit and would certainly get that bad if Ford decided they couldn't deliver the hybrid.
I do find it interesting that the question appears to focus on substitution...
I stopped in to my Dealer to ask about this and they couldn't find an answer but based on a 'picture' said it was 4 and that if it didn't come with 4 they could get another 2 to make 4... not sure if they will remember that when the time comes but did some looking a few minutes ago...
Sorry for your loss.... I think what makes this all the more frustrating is the average person buys maybe 5 or 10 new vehicles during their life time and that is likely a maximum. I have only bought new since starting to work full time and supporting myself and I am only on 6 or so... and that...
That is my thoughts... if I get scheduled next week depending on when it's scheduled I will expect it before the end of March. If I don't then I will need to make sure I do something with my existing car so it will pass inspection at the end of March.
I don't know if I would call it a decent amount. I am not sure how to even gage the percentage but I would think decent would mean something between 20 and 30 percent of the orders, my gut is that it has been closer to 10% and Ford wasn't aiming for more than 40 if I recall. I am really...
I think at this point a better question is, has the dealership gotten in any other customer orders? If they have, then obviously they are doing what needs to be done. If they haven't then I would be really worried unless they really have only gotten Hybrid orders and nothing for the ecoboost.
I was wondering if they have it available as an after-market wrap. I would be kind of cool to drive around with everyone trying to guess what you're hiding.
Slightly related topic.... I noticed that even the new F150s have the same smallish rear window. What happened to the full-height rear windows? I can't imagine the smaller cutout surrounded by glass is cheaper than the old 3 piece sliders?
I would really like some kind of update? Now with Hybrid's 'approved' and Ford publicly stating delivery in January, they should be ramping up production or are their issues here too?
This is the second thread I saw reference to some change in the lux package regarding the bedliner. I checked Ford's maverick build site last night and it still listed spayin bedliner for the lxt lux package. Can anyone elaborate on where and what changes they heard about?
I think you have to give ford at least 60% of the credit for all these people expecting their truck so soon. They are not properly setting expectations, and aren't open about the scheduling process. I mean I really don't expect them to strictly follow a first ordered first built process but...
I hate not knowing when.... I mean, at least I don't have to worry about my build date being bounced around yet. But, I would really like to know if I should expect closer to January or July for my Hybrid ordered in July. I am very torn on this only scheduling one month in advance.
I order mine July 12th, got the confirmation e-mail from Ford and still haven't been scheduled. I pestered my dealer and she was finally going to check if ROVP was applicable for my order as of October but she told me it was submitted and approved. And considering all the others with Hybrid...
Starting to teach my kids to drive, need to teach the driving laws, and also explain the only laws that you're certain the other drivers will follow are those of physics. Too many times someone 'forgets' to signal or still never turned off from their last usage. Last year I found out that you...
This has mostly been beaten to death, but I will add my 1.5 cents anyway.
The standard Hybrids battery is 'designed' (from what I have read) to spend most of its life at 50% charge. The system mostly charges when it would otherwise be braking to slow down, and then uses that Energy to start...
Logically, if it's the EPA doing the test then the best date would need to come from them, and the best future date from them would be prefixed with... unless something happens... If it was 100% certain it would be done, so, the best this could mean is we expect...
Assuming anyone has had any...
