I have been pondering the
Unscheduled - Balance Out which appears to mean the Order will not be produced because the model year has balanced out.
I wonder if those may have been Hybrid orders which never got approved in ROVP
and Ford is just marking them in the other Databases and the dealers...
It really depends upon what you're looking for. I need a small truck or something with external storage for rubbish and yard waste. The kids get upset when I haul such things in the hatchback. I was trying to decide what used truck to buy before the used priced jumped and then I saw the...
I don't like my wife's Acura's lane centering but I like to remain in control and when the lane centering turns the steering wheel out from under my hands I tend to fight it.
Nope. I spent a couple of weeks with them telling me they couldn't accept X-plan and then when I went in to test drive a ford hybrid and they saw I had the Xplan pricing from the build site they decided they could put my order in but couldn't confirm the pricing due to lack of invoices. I...
Interesting, this item in the checklist confuses me:

The transmission is in drive (D).

I thought it funny that with my wife's Acura when I stop in my spot the engine turns off only to turn back on when I put it in park. Seems that is a common theme. I noticed my wife just shuts off...
I e-mailed my salesperson the image from the price increase thread where it mentioned price protection about a week after it was announced as a heads up and followed up last by asking if they had worked out at the dealership how the price protection was going to work. My build week was bumped...
Bring home a real tree for christmas will give you a lifetime of needler in the car as well. My kids complain putting the garbage in the car for a trip the dump makes car smell for a week. So there are always going to be trade offs between interiors and exterior cargo space.
I would really like find out what happened to the transmission, and I suspect Ford will be tearing down that transmission to try and avoid this from happening again. I know my brand new Honda Civic in 97 had a broken gas gauge and other than being stranded with what I thought was a full take...
Not to beleaguer the issue, but FWD could break the rear inner, I mean it has the same break as the AWD and with all the spin sensors and independent brake control for traction control and anti lock breaks. I don't see anything that would prevent it. I am also not trying to convince you AWD...
I believe AWD can accelerate better, but driving also involves stopping and turning and I fail to see how AWD helps in either stopping or turning. I also think turning and stopping are more critical in snow as I have never seen someone in a snow bank because they couldn't accelerate while I...
Well, not sure how good of a suggestion it is... but it may help if you have some friends at your old duty station. See if you can work out with one of them to drive to the dealership and call you when they are there... then they can hand over the phone to the dealer and .... well... at least...
I got an update on my Hybrid LXT lux order yesterday, Moved from week of January 31, 2022. to week of February 7, 2022 .... not the best news but it can always be worse.
