I've looking for famous Ford pick-ups from the TV and/or movies (for inspiration).

Was wondering if the stubby antenna works as well as the stock one why did ford go with the longer one ? Also, LOVE the flag/eagle window decal ! was thinking what it would look like with the a rear opening window???

I don't know if this is relevant to this thread, but I'll try anyway... If the "pigtail" slot is so revolutionary, why is there only one in the whole truck ? Shouldn't there be one (at least) up front? Maybe a couple more in the back (underneath the windows)? Just a thought....

Iam curios, will the 2 x 6 you have in your pic also fit horizontally over the well wells ??

2x6 at 54 1/4. It fits, I just think I want a taller one. Maybe 2x10? Might just stack a 2x4 over it. Don't know yet. Anyways, just sharing in case anyone wanted to see the 2x6 specifically. Going to paint whatever I use a matte black or maybe some type of bed liner spray if I can find some.
