Need to read the whole thread. The truck was verified as sold before he got there to pick it up. They literally sold his truck to someone else then lied about the "recall".
I can "almost" see this happening w/a scummy greedy a$$ dealer. What pi$$es me of the most is the fact that they just flat out lied to the op's face about the bs recall and that the truck was there and would not even let him see it. Good luck op and hope somehow this all works out in the end.
WEll, say what you want but the FACTS are Ford is near the bottom in OVERALL quality and Toyota is near the top. Can't deny it. Not defending Toyota just stating facts. Not saying that all fords are shi$$y just as a whole, Ford brand has the most unreliable vehicles. No convincing you cause you...
"AND ABOVE ALL ELSE, AS RELIABLE AS HELL" LOLOL. Ford led EVERY manufacturer in recalls in 2022. So, as reliable as hell? Don't think so. Ford is 18th down on the most reliable vehicles list. At least Bob Farley knows this and hopefully trying to fix the problem. Fingers crossed
Sweet. I joined on Monday and then read where you must take delivery by 1/1/2022. So, I thought well there goes $560 ($60 to join in Idaho and the $500 discount) darn it just my luck. Great to hear they renewed it. Probably renews every year on Jan. I just did not know it. Thanks for the great...
Pretty tough stuff. Might replace/check in 5 years or so to be safe. Had mine on for 8 years before I sold my last truck and still was intact w/no wear thru
The easiest way to install the ppf is to tape a piece of ppf where you want it and position the flap and trace around it. Trim slightly larger than the flap. Make sure to clean area thoroughly and if truck has been waxed use alcohol to clean.
I would defenietly
I would definitely put some ppf behind the flaps. I have seen what a little sand/dirt (that will get behind the flaps) can due in a short amount of time to the finish. Don't wait too long. Go to your local (or closest if there is one) ppf installer and ask for some scrap...
Like the cheap Maverick is something to be proud of. Guarantee the Corolla (any Toyota) will outlast the Maverick and be more reliable. Too bad Toyota does not have a direct competitor (yet). Have a great day
