Maybe if Ford was more transparent people who are excited/desperate for their truck wouldn't have to try to read the tea leaves on how many months or years they may have to wait. Just sayin . . .

This is a great point on colors. My dealer has had a number of rollover orders scheduled that are identical to my unscheduled order. They were all 2021 orders placed after mine, the only difference is the paint color.

Exactly this. If Ford was honest and told people that you could be waiting eighteen months or more for your order while other people wait six months or less, how many people would place an order? I know I sure wouldn't have even considered buying a Ford.
