I experienced the same in my 23 Tremor with stock offroad tires. On new asphalt, near silence, but on old cement or bad roads, the noise level became uncomfortable.
The increase in 24 prices should tend to increase the value of your 23, right? The delta may be smaller than you think. You just have to find someone offering a fair price on your 23. There's a dealer in Iowa mentioned in another thread selling 24 Mavericks for $1K under MSRP. Ford says the run...
Not familiar with CA DMV laws, but if possible, I'd buy and sell it. Get temporary plates so it need not be registered, and don't drive it - lest something bad happen. You should be able to get whatever the market will bear in your market territory.
Those who purchase the Maverick are well aware of what it can or cannot do. It's interesting that the author made the statement that a minivan could perform the duties of the Maverick. That's partially true and why I bought a Maverick. I'm a landlord, and I destroyed the interior of my wife's...
Ford cannot afford to stand pat if they want to continue to have the advantage in this market segment. Several other manufacturers plan to announce competing models including GM, Chrysler, Toyota and Nissan. Thus demand for the 24 Maverick may be mitigated by these new entrants, some of which...

Due to the overwhelming success of the Ford Maverick, there are perhaps a half-dozen or more new micro trucks in the pipeline. Competition is good, and it should help ensure Ford will continue to innovate if it wants to remain the leader in this segment.
Very disappointing. Doesn't Ford know who its target audience is? Hint: It's not the Brokeback Mountain genre. Now I'm not sure if my next vehicle will be from Ford.
