I'm sure it could be very popular and even more so if Ford promoted it more. I just think that it would require some new engineering on the baseplate/tow bar assembly that they may not be willing to invest the R&D into.
Assembly lube is a thing but it's main purpose is for the 1st start up to protect the moving metal on metal parts before the engine oil has a chance to move throughout the system. Thinking that assembly lube is important afterwards is probably not a thing (especially after 1000 miles). All...
I figured as much, I would always have one hand on the steering wheel but the system would still tell me to put my hands back on. I would have to grab the wheel harder so it wouldn't nag me.
Anyone know if it's possible to adjust the time amount that the vehicle tells you to put your hands on the steering wheel? Seems like it only gives you like 20 seconds before it barks at you. It also seems like you have to give the wheel a good firm grab before it recognizes you touching it.
