You are fine. I don't use it myself. It may have useful information, but I am savvy enough to stay on top of my truck. Don't like any big brother functions it may have.

I too have moved 800-1,000 lb. loads of river rock several times with no obvious ill effect. Tires were set at the recommended pressure. Rear end did squat, but the truck felt solid and sure-footed, with plenty of torque.

Ford's simple drop-in bedliner for me. I had a 2005 Nissan Titan with their SIBL and it turned out to be garbage. Peeling, blistering and bubbling. If you are going with a SIBL, surface prep is paramount.
