Following up to this. My dealer in Illinois does accept it and I joined MCA. It was about $35. $35 to possibly save $1500?? Ummm yes please.
** thank you to everyone in here for starting and explaining on this thread. It is much appreciated.
I have been going back and forth between the two for a while. I have finally 100% settled on going with my 24' Maverick that I have ordered. I have had several Hyundai's, 1 of which saved my life. I really like a lot of what the SC has to offer. I just do not like the gas mileage or the price...
good job dad! More dads need to take their kids fishing. We don't catch much but we still enjoy going out fishing.
**I'm not dad bashing, I know how hard it is to get out and fish or other bonding, with these crazy busy days we all have.
I want to get this one "Waughts" (Wakt) its Scottish for drink deep -or- a copious draft.
My other silly thought was....
"Orejano" on a regular plate. It means Unbranded cow.... which is what a Maverick is.
OR, I'm part Scottish so maybe MAC if I can get it. who knows.
I just came across this post. My wife has a 23' Red Explorer and I'm going to have the 24' Cactus Gray Maverick its almost like looking at our driveway in the future.... just not with the picked fence... or brick house... ok, just the 2 vehicles.
Do you have a link for the roof spoiler? I want to get one of these.
Have you had any issues with yours?
A few of the ones I have found for sale have seemed to have issues coming off after a couple months.
I have been doing quite a bit of research on stuff to change or add. A few things I did not see listed on this thread;
Replacement LED dome/ bed lights - This one seemed to be one of the best I have found. Sounds like some people have said you need a little extra seal.
Dashboard storage tray...
I just took a look and it is pretty inexpensive for a 1 yr membership. sounds like a good deal. now to see if my dealer participates, before signing up... lol.
Thank you for the info!
It looks like you have to be a member of certain groups or work for a company that participates. I do not work for a company listed on the sheet I found. Is there a way around it or is there a very inexpensive group to join to obtain this?
Hey all, yes this is normal. It is the rubber seal. When you close and. Lock the filter box In place, it seals it tight. I had a civic and a Chrysler that were the same.
