  2. Truck just stopped for a minute or two

I have a 2023 XLT Hybrid with about 12,000 miles on it. Pulled out of my subdivision today and as I made a right hand turned the truck just stopped. I turned the key off, then back on, and while all the display panels were on, and the battery level was at the top of the green as always, when I...
  3. Mav Hybrid mileage

Don't go by the mileage shown on your display screen. That mileage # is simply the MPG for that particular moment in time, which varies if you are going uphill or down hill. Only true milage # is when you go to the pump to fill up. Do your own manual calculation then.. Divide the miles you...
  4. Remote start useless for Hybrid

I have an XLT hybrid, and I've used the remote start on several occasions.
  5. Dealer changed the color of my order weeks before build date

Crappy dealer. This dealer knows that they can't order a Maverick that they can mark up, so they mess with a normal customer order (like yours) and change things, with the hope that when the truck comes in you will decline to take delivery. No sweat off their back as they can then take...
  6. Lousy gas mileage?

Ditto on my 2023 Hybrid Maverick. I am getting 42-43 MPG in the city. I just returned from a 1,500 round trip voyage from NC to PA, probably averaging around 73-74 MPH on the highway. And at all of my gas fill ups along the way, I was getting 38-39 MPG. Love my Maverick.
  7. Recalls are still breaking trucks btw

I've had all the software recalls done with absolutely no problems. My local Ford dealer (Capital Ford in Wilmington, NC) actually sent a mobile unit out to my home to install the software updates. Each took only about 15 minute' or so. No muss, no fuss, no being without my truck by having to...
  8. Maverick among cars expected to have most recalls

Yes, there have several recalls. But so far, for my 23 XLT Hybrid, all but one have been software related. And my local Ford dealership (Capital Ford in Wilmington, NC) actually sends a mobile unit out to my home to handle the recall update, which is fantastic.
  9. This hurts... hit just 2 months into ownership

Ouch. I feel for you. I waited 16 months to get my 2023 XLT hybrid, and I would be beyond upset to only have it for 2 months and then have someone mangle it with a preventable accident like you've been involved in. Hope they can find your parts quickly.
  10. Rant: interior plastic is going to look horrible in a few years

I've had my XLT Maverick for 1 1/2 years. Vacuumed it several times with no problem whatsoever.
  11. Map app not displaying

I have had my 2023 XLT Hybrid for a little over a year. Absolutely love it. But recently my Map app on my iPhone is not linking up to my Maverick. My phone links up as I can call and receive calls. My Pandora app links up so I can listen via my truck audio. But my Map app is now now linking...
  12. So we aren’t getting the recalls done?

I've had all the recalls done with absolutely no problems.
  13. [PICS] Mabett Gray / White Seat Covers Installed!

Those look great!! Where did you get them, and how much did they cost?
  14. Why so much negativity

I am averaging about 44 MPG with my 2023 Hybrid. Based on actual "at the pump" calculations and not what is showing on my display. Have about 9,000 miles on the Maverick in a year's time. About 80% of my driving is in the city around 30-45 MPH and 20% on the highway doing between 50-75 MPH.
  15. Goodbye Maverick, Hello ⚡️

If I did the math right, it looks like after all of your discounts the reduced price before trade in was around $55,500 plus/minus. And out-the-door price was around $48,750., a difference of only around $7k. Is $7k all they gave you for trading in your Maverick plus the minivan? Not sure...
  16. Market changing

Quite the contrary here in North Carolina. The Mav hybrids have a great reputation here.
  17. Sad Maverick Owner. So mad at Ford...

The dealership has 100% responsibility in this matter. You brought the truck in for repair. They drove it when it was in the accident. They should be returning the vehicle to you in the same condition as when it was brought in. If it is considered totaled, then their insurance company should...
  18. What is this button ?

That's the James Bond ejector seat button. For use when your mother-in-law is riding with you.
